Rattle Run Golf Course

Unfortunately we had a torrential downpour so we didn't get in 18 however it was a great experience.

Course was in very good condition. Greens a little slow, but where in very good shape. Looking forward to playing it again.

I wish we were going to be in this area awhile. We travel and were able to golf this course twice and if I were here longer, I would be golfing this regularly.

The greens are very well maintained, cut and running about 10. Green approach requires a good touch with your wedge play. The fairways are well groomed with the rough cut accordingly. This is a course that shouldn't be missed this season. Played this course a few years ago when under previous owners, and was not happy. The New owners are doing this course right. New superintendent has it under control. Black, blue, white, and red tee boxes. A good course for all. All levels of play taken into consideration. They Keep this up and they will earn a golf digest award. I will play again. Rates still very reasonable. Food very reasonably priced. Up north feel.

I have been playing this track for 25 years . Right now is the best shape I can remember seeing it . only draw back would be the lack of sand in some of the bunkers.

Challenging and the service carts on the course were great.
Staff was friendly and very informative.

Our 4some drove an hour to golf the course. Online rate is more expensive than the specials the course runs. Rick is nice but the young, dark haired gentleman, is rude and dismissive. I would never come back due to his attitude and inability to make the guests feel valued. Oh and the bugs are horrible. Buzzing in your face/ear the entire round. Course was well maintained, but I wish the rude gentleman wouldn't have ruined my experience.

Very challenging for first time players.. some holes average but lots of difficulty with blind shots, hazards everywhere, and narrow fairways. Greens were good shape.

Course is challenging but set up well for both men and women players. I will play this course again.

I really enjoyed playing this golf course. It was challenging and brought all my best game. Good golfer can't afford to make any mistakes in this course. Enjoy!

I've always liked Rattle Run. Whenever I get too confident I come play here to knock me down a couple notches. It is a very challenging course. Its got length and a lot of trees. This day the greens were a little slow, the ladies tee boxes were yet to be mowed and the bugs drove us crazy. We bought some bug spray at the turn, but I already had a bad Black Fly bite on my hand that later swelled up and hurt. Overall I like to play this course when we can get Senior rates around $20, today $25 was more than I wanted to spend. Average value.

The course has a very nice layout and friendly staff but it needs attention in the worst way. Come on, ownership, invest a little money in to your course.

Great layout & scenery. Good value. Play the Blues to use the whole course. Greens and tee-boxes need some work. Bring bug-spray.

Excellent layout and great price however the greens need attention and the course could use some water. Staff was friendly.

Play the course 4 or 5 times a year for last 15 years. This was the worst condition I have ever seen it. Accept no excuses...traps havent been touched yet this spring.....other courses are in great shape.....Rattle doesnt compare,,,,,Course has always had great potential, but lack of care from management is evident....prices have almost doubled....not worth the weekend or weekday rate at this point

This is a great layout and a fairly scenic course. The play was pretty slow, but the pro shop did I good job of trying to keep folks moving. I went as a single and was paired with two really fun people. The course would be a gem if it was maintained better. The greens were really slow, the fairways were full of dandelions, and the bunkers were hard panned. I would play all the time at 20-25 bucks, but I wouldn't pay more unless the conditions improved.

For a former top 75 according to golf digest, this place is a joke. The staff is friendly, that's the only thing it has going for it. The grounds maintenance is non-existent. The rough is up to six inches tall in some places, causing you to lose ball after ball. All throughout the course there is trails of clumps of brown grass clippings, absolutely everywhere. The fairway is choppy and infested with dandelions, not to mention composed of almost half weeds. The grass on the greens is way too long and are the equivalent of putting on the fairway. We ended up deciding if you could get it within two feet the putt was good, that's how bad they were. They were covered in divots, dead spots, and tire tracks and trails, yes all of this was on the green. I was looking forward to playing golf all week long and was thoroughly disappointed to waste my only day off and only time I could go golf playing a ridiculous course where scoring good was impossible. The new owners have ran that place into the ground. As I pulled into the courses parking lot, I noticed it was empty. I definitely see why. I will never play this course ever again. It is the worst course I have ever played.

Bring your A game course challenges every shot in your bag. If you are not mentally ready the course will get the best of you.
