About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Cheap golf near the beach
Overall was a good round. Pro shop and starter both very nice and helpful. Greens are kept in great shape. Other parts of the course are in rough shape i.e. Tee boxes, fairways, traps. There was a lot of sod laid on some tee boxes and fairway areas which shows they are trying. Municipal course and it is what you would expect at the price. I would come back again if I was looking for a cheap round in the area.
Golf course
It is nice course . The courses are moderately tough with lot of water and shrubs . Enjoyed my first play .
Been awhile since I played here...course was in amuch better condition...geens were beautiful and fast...defiantly will be back...
I wouldn't play there
I thought it was rated 4star , fair way was not cut it all , looked like everything needed attention
Value
Great value some very challenging holes also some very short par fours
Had a fun time.
Greens and fairways were OK. There are a lot of bad areas. Staff was very nice. Interesting layout including a par 6 hole. I will play here again, it's a good practice course.
Awful condition
The golf course is in awful condition always. Huge part of the fairways are missing and are just dirt. The greens have crab grass growing along the fringes, and the tee boxes are a mess. It's cheap and different but you get exactly what you pay for.
not bad
Course can be wet, fairways bad shape, greens good, great for average golfers! Wildlife all over the place! but watch out for the goose droppings. like playing there
Cloudy day but ...
The weather the weekend before had been a nor'eastern.. The course was still in great shape. Course is big and challenging. Fairways were soggy in places but still in good shape this time of year in NJ. Fairways were narrow, water hazards on all holes on back 9. Being a group of ladies had no problems on course. Pace was great and staff were friendly. We always have a great time when we play here. Even on days that are busy and crowed never feel rushed and plenty of room for everyone. Going back next week!
No good after rain. Does not drain
Showing a lot of wear. It rained for a few days before we played and the water was everywere Doesn't drain well. Still it was priced right

Beat up
I have played this course several times. Unfortunately, the course is beat up. Fairways and tee boxes were disappointing. On a positive note, the greens were in good shape.

A challenge
1st time here . Tight course , have to hit it straight and to your spots . Good amount of trouble spots all over . Course needs some work though , bunkers in rough shape along with fairways without much grass which Leeds me to believe it would be brutal in the dead of summer .Greens and tee boxes in good shape ...

Fair price
The greens are very nice but tee boxes and fairways are very poor condition. We played you could move the ball in the fairway to grass. We made the most of it and had fun. I wouldn't pay more than $35 to play it.

You get what you pay for
Course was foll of geese and geese feces. If don't mind stepping around the stuff and putting through it you can play. Fairways were in fair condition and I was constantly moving my ball to find a spot to hot it from.

Better than it has been
The greens and fairways are better than they have been for years. Pace was ok for a Friday, can't beat the price.
