About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Great value
The Hot Deal was fantastic. The course does not have alcohol. The club house is sad. But, the course plays well and we had a great round.
Great Value
The course is in good condition. We played in under 4 hours. It is nice to play a course near the shore and not have to pay close to $100.

Nice course terrible cart paths
Course is fairly challenging, greens are nice, carts are OK but the cart paths are terrible. Ruts, Ruts and more ruts.

Great for beginners
This is a course that you can normally find a good value deal on. It works great if you or a member of your group are beginners. Many short par 4s to go with a par 6 which is definitely different. Conditions are what you pay for. Easily one of the cheaper courses near the south Jersey shore which is a plus.

Back 9
This is the second time my wife and I played this course. We have always found the back 9 considerably easier than the front 9. This is the only course I have ever played With a par 6.
Although there are rangers out there they do not appear to be doing much. I would rather see a starter on the course.

Wet and Soggy!!!!
You always can appreciate a municipal course in your area. However, this course should not have been open. Much of the fairways were water logged and huge puddles on cart paths created continued obstacles. Clearly the course is not built to handle excess water.
Greentree has wintered well
The course was in surprisingly good shape. Pace of play was outstanding.
Fun Round of Golf
Went out for a quick round of golf. The course was in good shape, the greens were in great shape. Rough could use some help and it would be better if the fairways were not cut so thin. We had a good time and would come back.
nothing weed killer and lawn mowers couldnt fix
So, i get it, $30 for a round of golf is cheap, really cheap. I think it's worth the price, but it does not compare to most other courses that are $50-$65.
The fairways are mostly weeds and sand, . the rough isnt cut everywhere so a small miss could end up in 6 inch grass. the greens are ok and kinda tough for a place with so much uncut grass and weeds.
good for beginners and anyone looking to practice difficult shots from bad lies. the course is pretty much a large bad lie.
Favorite Course For Sure!
I am new to golf as October. Since April I have played at at least a dozen courses between south jersey and philly. GreenTree surpasses them all. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. The fairways and greens always tended to and in great shape. They always have the lowest costs and most available tee times around. This is my favorite course! I am happy to have such a gem right in my back yard. I love how they make golf accessible to ALL!
An excellent value for the price
First time at course with my brother. I enjoyed each hole. For the price of $30.00 each with cart, a real value and I will play again. I am a weekend golfer, the course has a couple of challenging holes. greens were running fast. I give it a B+ for a Muni course.
Nice course
This course is a great value. It is on the short side, but has a few challenging holes. Alot of sub 300 yard par 4's, but most of them are big doglegs. Definately not as easy as the scorecard yardage suggests. Greens were nice, fairways pretty average. Overall a fun course to play, and the price is very nice.

Good value for the money
The condition of the greens has been much better this Summer than in previous years.
This is a short, tight course that takes driver out of your hands. It's a good test for your irons and short game. However, if you prefer a wide open course and like to hit your driver off the tee, this isn't the place for you.
Good spot for junior golfers and people new to the game to improve their skills.
Good Round
Good facility in decent shape. Fairly short course but had some interesting holes. Do not need to use driver on every hole as placement of shot is important.

Nice course played with friend on vacation. Make sure you check when leagues are playing.
