Green Tree Golf Course
About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

can't go wrong
other than the location its a great way to play at the shore without the overpricing that currently exists at most clubs
greens were in good shape and the rest of the course was fine
Tees, fairways, and greens are nice.
Cart paths a little rough, but overall a nice course with reasonable rates.
Nice Little Track
Played this course with my 10 year old son. He enjoyed the short Par 3'sand Par 4's. Great course if you want to work on your short game (Lots of water around the greens) Greens were in great shape. Not bad at all
Very nice fairways and greens
I was very impressed since the last time I played the course
Great for new players
Great for new and high handicap players. If you're a long hitter or a skilled player you won't have much of a challenge. The par 6 definitely adds to the entertainment value with the rest of the holes being fairly short. Parts of the course can be patchy and have standing water even a few days after rain, but the greens, outside 1 or 2, tend to be in good shape and roll true enough. I'd say it's worth the price and a fun place to get a round in and even out the gap between better and intermediate players.
The course is always a challenge
I like the course but it stays moist and there is cartpath only when it rains
Course under water
The course was extremely wet and we only played this course because of the great rate we got from golfnow. It was difficult to see the courses potential because of the invasive amount of water. However there are many challenging holes that include ponds and bunkers.
Day After Christmas Golf in SJ
Mother Nature provided beautiful weather in S. Jersey the day after Christmas, GolfNow provided a great deal. 3 players with carts for $45! The course was wet but in good shape considering it absorbed a few inches of rain just two days prior. Pace was not an issue as the course was basically empty. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and conversational. Overall a great winter golf experience.
great value
Somewhat challenging for the intermediate golfer. Is not a very long course but it makes you hit well placed shots with its hidden hazards and sharp dog legs, especially for slicers with a few dog legs left. Overall good experience and fun round of golf.
Not a good course
Did not care for this course - the course had too many leaves - too conjested and for as the holes - would not recommend
the 625 Yard Hole
As before I found the course a good lesson on hitting the fairways. The tree line designed layout forces you to dail it back and play placement golf. The greens ran true in spite of the seasonal leaves that occupied it;s terrain.
Satisfying
I was pleasantly surprised on the condition of the course. Fairways n greens were in excellent condition. I had a good round on a beautiful weather day that only enhanced my experience at Green Tree
good for all golfers
short but fun, for all type of golfer from JR. to SR.
Bogey Golfer
Challenging course, hazards in front of numerous holes. Bring your used balls. CAN"T beat the price to Ride either. Great staff, driving range & putting green. Spend the entire day there.
Great reunion
Got a text from an old friend I haven't golfed with in years just as I was walking in the door from work. He wanted to golf and I found a great price on here so we booked it. I hadn't played the course in years and was kinda excited about it. When I arrived, the guy working greeted me with a big smile and friendly service. Was in the cart within 1 minute! The course was in pretty good shape and the day was perfect for golfing. Everything was great that day, including the deer that where frollicking about and the waterfowl that enjoyed the ponds there. My friend and I had a great time and best of all, since it was late afternoon and everybody was about done, we got 18 holes done in less then 3hrs! Fabulous day all around. Thanks Green Tree!!
Not in great shape
All the tee boxes were in rough shape. One of them it was like hitting out of the rough. Not an expensive course to play and I can see why.
Green tree Golf
Short but very interesting holes. Course was in good shape. Pace of play a little slow but that may have group in front of us. There was at least a hole open ahead of them. Would play again.
Let's Play it Again!
I will definitely play it again. The course requires that you use every club....make decisions on shots, and make the shots. You'll need to pitch and lob to some holes, and you're able to Bump and Run on others. You'll hit your driver, but you'll also need some irons and Woods/Hybrids off of some tees. It's challenging without being a Punitive Beat Down for even a modest level golfer.
Greens in very nice shape---fairways were decent---not plush, but very playable. The course was capable of assessing strokes without costing me a golf ball on every errant shot.
Nice Place...Modest Price...yeah---we'll play it again.
Green tree
For the prices you get on golf now you really can't complain about this course. However be prepared to wait, the ranger here never really keeps up on people about pace of play. Right around 5 hours to play a round on the weekend. The staff is great and the course is in decent shape. Fun course as well.
