Flanders Valley Golf Club - White/Blue Course
About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Great course
This course is real nice..fairways great greens excellent and sand traps have real nice sand..over all this is a great course.
Nothing Special
Paid full freight as a non-resident on a Saturday morning. This course is committing robbery for $80 (with cart). I won't be back at that price. The course had a ho-hum layout, with only a couple interesting holes. It was in good enough shape, the greens rolled true, if a little slow, but otherwise nothing to write home about.
Blue to White
An enjoyable round. Course conditions were good throughout. Favorite hole #13 double dogleg par 5.
ALWAYS A SOLID COURSE
white to blue was my home course for several years. only get to play there once or twice these days since i always try to play 50 different courses a year. this is the best conditions i have see it in years. worth the day.
Breezy but Fun!
Came out on a wet & windy Saturday, the course was a little soggy in the morning but seemed to drain well because it was much better by the end of the round. Course was in excellent shape, greens were aerated 2 weeks prior to us playing but they very playable, another week and they will be primo! All the staff from the moment we stepped on the grounds were super friendly and helpful, especially the starters. Pace of play was not an issue all day, things seemed to be moving fine across the course which is always nice. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend
Good for first round of year. Not worth money thiygg
Many courses not open yet so they overcharged for the round. Greens hairy but rolled ok. Fairways not cut.
Flanders in February
Northern NJ GOLF IN February, what's not to like? We played Red to White, and not temp greens. This was a bonus round as we never see golf until late March. Pace was better than usual at 4:15. Flanders usually plays in 4:30.
Good but somewhat challenging
Played on a chilly and windy day. Played blue/white. Not that long but some holes are sharp doglegs so you need to hit on the correct side/distance off the tee. Some greens are fast and severely sloped. Tee grounds and some bunkers could use some maintenance.
Excellent course design and fun layout
A bit of a drive from NYC but was glad I was able to play this track. Course can play difficult due to a number of dog legged shots and tricky greens if not familiar. The blue/white has consist of variety of holes. Open fairways where you can let your driver go along with tight narrow fairways with dog legs forcing you to use other clubs on tee shots. The front tees make it enjoyable for the ladies as well so players of all levels would enjoy it. Despite being a weekend and packed full of players, the management and starter were pretty efficient and finished my late weekend round in 4 hrs 40 minutes.
Great day
Enjoyed the round went out as a single played with three other gentlemen two of which were decent golfers the 3rd had his issues and left after 9 but overall experience was good course was in great shape would recommend it to anyone
Great Place to Play
The grounds crew did a great job. The fairways and green are in excellent condition. There is plenty of hazard on the nicely layed out course. The tee boxes could be better. The recent rain has made the rough really rough. The bunkers could use more sand.
Good
The course itself is pretty good. Greens run true and a few challenging holes. Value for your money depends on the tee time, you can find better deals for peak rates. Pace of play can sometimes be an issue, and rarely is there a ranger out to keep it moving.
Decent course
Pros:
2 18 hole golf courses
Average course conditions
Relatively Cheap (for both residents and non-residents)
Nice Carts (Gas)
Cons:
No Driving Range
Not very challenging
Flanders Valley Golf course is an average golf course, for an average price. Nothing is spectacular and nothing is poor. This course is recommended for anyone who just wants to get out and play golf, but is not looking for anything fancy or challenging.
Nice Course
The course was pretty good, except for the few fairways that had potholes which created small ponds. Layout was nice, and staff was the best; very friendly and personable.
Fun course
The course was in good shape and was walkable which was nice. Staff was very helpful. Only negative is Greens were very slow.
Kudos to Billy Casper golf
I'm from Bergen co. Have county card there but have played Flanders 12 times already, I pay the $250 for out of co. Paid for itself already ....tee times 10 days ahead , always find times , Fell in love with this place 4 years ago ... What a turn around ... Every green covered with grass on every inch ....when cut . Some get slippery . Staff treats you like family
Better than the old Morris county staff....
