About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

So slow
Never seen a course more packed. Not exaggerating when I say there were 2-3 groups on EVERY hole. I broke off from my foursome to try and go faster playing through people and it still took me over 2 and a half hours to play nine (with cart). I booked 18 but decided to get off then. Tee boxes were also a joke. Most of them literally had no grass on them, just dirt. Better courses in the area for a similar price. Not returning.
Better than being at the office!
The course overall was in good shape. The tee boxes could use some TLC but fairways and greens were good.
Backyard oasis
Reminded me of a course my dad would have built in our backyard. Was great but the navigation to holes needs woek

Getting better
I think this is the third management team that has been here in the last ten years. Seem to be making the right moves. Course has improved. Have to watch out for people bypassing the starter and sneaking out on to the back half of the course

Tee time
I was a single player for 8 am starter shuffled tee times around and had me start at hole 10 because I would have been the only one playing. He stated that I should play 10-18 and then play 1-9. By the time I got around, there were no open spots only 4 domes. This has happened before and the course should not shuffle tee times unless absolutely necessary.

Great price
Fairways and greens were great. Bunkers could use some more work/raking. The garmin app has the holes all mixed up, so if you use a garmin gps, you might need to update the watch or manually change from hole to hole. They were not in order for me.
