Meadows Golf Club
About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

good for the price
It's close to home, it's good for the price, and I think it's a challenging course.
Great time
This is a good course. Some of the tee boxes could be better but I like playing this course.
Disappointing visit to an old reliable
We have Played the Meadows over 20+ years and new ownership. This course gets a lot of play. The new management has cleared much of the tree and vegetation overgrowth. The issue is the fairways and Tee Boxes are in disrepair. Most fairways have dirt patches and no sign of reseeding. Many tee boxes were under repair and temp boxes moved way up. We walked the course and the price point is too high due to course conditions. Presently this course is a last resort play.
Tee boxes were not in great shape. Some it was difficult to even put a tee into the ground.
Cancellation process
Unfortunately I booked the wrong course late Monday night n could not cancel because of the 24 hour cancellation period. I mistakenly checked in while trying to cancel. If I’m charge for 1 it is what it is but hopefully not charged for 2. Otherwise always a good experience with GOLFNOW. Ty f John
Not worth the price and dangerous course
Paying 70 dollars on the weekend for the course is definitely not worth it, greens on majority of the holes are in terrible shape, the fairways are terrible, and the tee off area are some of the worst I have ever seen.
Another thing bad about this course is that it’s dangerous because you have to yell fore multiple times because the layout is terrible. If your shot goes a tiny bit right or a tiny bit right, you will 100 % hit somebody which I have never seen in other local courses.
Pace of play is good, and everyone working there is friendly, but the course itself is not worth the price and they need some major improvements to the greens, fairways, and tee box for it to come close to being a good course.
Course is DEAD
Played here for years and considered this my home course and it pains me to write this review. The course is DEAD it is the worst I’ve ever seen, the greens are diseased, the tee boxes are just mud and dirt. Truly disappointing
Also, the prices on GolfNow are $10 less than they charged at the course. $60 for walking an afternoon round is almost criminal with the shape of the course
Try again next year
Swampy with minimum grass
Meadows is anything but. Some greens were in good shape but very little of the playing corridors were conditioned at all. The routing is dangerous, multiple fore calls will be heard throughout the round.
Cool layout
It’s a cool layout with some nice holes but it needs work. Fairways and tee boxes are in very rough shape. Greens are in good shape but they’re slow. Once they renovate the fairways and greens like they said they’re doing this course should be awesome.
Adequate course
Beat up tee boxes and rough fairways and greens. OK for a not too serious golfer but certainly not a well maintained course. Also nit one Port-a-John or drinkingwater on the entire course. Vending cart does roam the course.
Fine for the casual golfer like me and it has tee times available and allows 9 hole rounds and is reasonably priced, so it remains a good golf option for me and will play there regularly.
