Mays Landing Golf Club

Course was perfect for average player. Relatively flat, most fairways wide enough. First time playing here which is always a challenge.

Played mid-day on saturday, pace of f play was very good. Course conditions were good. Very friendly players and staff. Water on several holes and cart person came around twice.

Rained heavy 30 mins before our round and then cleared up nicely.The course drained very well. Is a nice friendly course and wide fairways on many holes.Staff is friendly and the starter was a very gentleman.

Greens rolled real nice.We enjoyed our round and I scored a 88

Golf course was in very good shape,played well. $10 for ballwas a little over priced, all in all a good time. 5 hour course

Haven’t played Mays Landing in awhile. As always course was in very good shape with greens in excellent condition. Not a premium course but overall value is great.

This course I would rate average as far as condition and playability (cart paths need repair, rough is very rough) but what sets this golf course apart is their hospitality. The moment my son and I got out of my truck somebody came over with a cart smiling and put bags in cart and told me to take it up to pro shop. Helpful Marshall directed me when I got to pro shop and pro shop was very helpful with tips and info. We came early and used their practice facilities which are the best I have seen yet, largest putting green, bunker practice, chipping practice, the Marshall came by and said whenever I was ready I could go to first tee. I have been to nicer golf courses with grumpy people working at it, which I never understood, but here they really make you feel right at home and it is reasonably priced. I will be coming back here again soon even though it is 30 minutes away as I feel they want you there, not like other golf courses where they make you feel like you are bothering them.

I played with a woman named June and some other nice members who were helpful in guiding me around the course. We had beautiful weather good company on a nice golf course. Course had a nice mix of short and some longer holes and good par 3 holes. Staff was extremely friendly.

Always enjoy playing Mays Landing. As for appearance the course is just average, but for

fun, value and nice employees it is above average.

Green were good, fairways good, patchy off fairways. Dusty cart paths don't tailgate.

Great service as always . The cart paths are in terrible shape & need fixed . As for the course a little manicure makeover would help a lot .

Course was in good shape, however the greens had been aerated

This is very similar to most Jersey shore courses. It had a good mixture of hazards and none of the holes seemed redundant. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. There's a bar right at the first hole and you can restock at the turn.

If I had to nitpick, there were a few dry patches and the fairway bunkers weren't in the best shape. The greens were recently aerated, but should be fine soon. It was a great course for the value and I'll definitely be back in the future.

I typically enjoy playing at Mays Landing, as their course is of reasonable quality and you can find decent deals. However, not giving an aeration notice is ridiculous, especially considering their website's tee time bookings are linked through GolfNow as well. The greens were completely unplayable with massive aeration holes and felt more like wet hilly sponges than anything else. I had "putts" jumping multiple inches off of the ground.

We played the course in the afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The course was in good shape and the staff was attentive and friendly

We played this course for the first time. We enjoyed it very much and loved the five t blocks. They had aerated the greens which made putting a little trying. We will go back when the greens are back to normal.
