My pops and I love playing this course. It is always in great condition, the greens are well kept, tee boxes are solid. Club house bar tenders are the best

Course is in great condition. Layout is tremendous! Only negative is the bunkers hold water and need new/more sand.

Great Course!
This course is beautiful. I have only played about 15 different courses my whole life. This is by far the best maintained course. It’s clear they have sunk a ton of money into the grounds here. I really enjoyed some of the tricky hazards and different elevations of the course. Can’t wait to come back.

Golden Pheasant Beautiful
Ownership has put a tremendous amount of money and effort into the course. It’s the best it has ever been. Course is first rate and great value $$

Nice round of golf; bunkers and pricing improvements needed
Our group played 18 holes in the afternoon in early June. We teed off exactly on time.
Course conditions were good except for the bunkers (see below). Weather was excellent.
Pace of play was very good. We played our 18 hole round in exactly 4.0 hours.
Staff was very friendly as always.
The bunkers are largely constructed of dark dirt. As such, the bunkers play a bit like hard pan if the bunkers are not powered raked at a minimum. White South Jersey sand needs to be added to all of the bunkers. This is not a major expense for the course and would greatly improve course conditions to "very good/excellent" level.
Lastly, the cost to play Golden Pheasant has significantly increased; just like play at many of the other South Jersey public golf courses. However, Golden Pheasant is investing money to improve the course unlike the many other golf courses which are just jacking up prime time tee time costs for higher profits. My golf friends and I have reduced the amount of time we devote to playing golf over the past 2 years because we refuse to pay the INSANE cost for prime time tee times. More people should do the same!

Pleasantly surprised
I usually play this course every other year and I can say that there has been a lot of work put in to make it more plesurely playable. Cart path was blacktop and the best is the course was in great shape. Looking forward to going back for my next round and it will be this year. Course was fun to play

Great course
Course is in immaculate shape and you can tell they put a lot of work into making it better this past offseason. Hole 11 was completely redone and plays as a temporary hole right now, but looks to be almost done and will be outstanding when finished. Pace can be a problem here, but it’s golf, enjoy the nice weather and buy a bucket of beer at the turn.

Nice course, very friendly staff
Love playing at Golden Pheasant. The staff there is friendly and accommodating. They continue to invest in course improvements. Better drainage, cart pat replacements, the 11th hole was totally redone, and course beautification to include flowers and shrubs are just a few of the recent improvements. And the food at the 19th hole is excellent and service is great.

First time playing this course in a while. Fairways and greens are in much better shape. Greens are fast and true. Still some spots where the rough was chewed up but, where it wasn’t, it was lush
