An enjoyable round of golf!
My son and I played Golden Pheasant Golf Club today, Jan. 8, 2023. We reserved our late morning tee time via a GolfNow hot deal. The temperature was 40-42 deg. F. The sky was blue and there was no wind. There were only about 25 or so people on the course when we arrived based on the few, number of cars in the parking lot. Ideal South Jersey winter golf conditions!
Check-in was quick and easy. We were able to tee off 25 minutes earlier than our scheduled tee time which now guaranteed we could watch the Eagles-Giants football game at 4:15 pm. Sweet!
Tee boxes are in great condition. Fairways are in great condition. Greens are in great condition.
Hole #11 (par 3 at golf course entrance) was closed for some reason. We suspect the small fairway leading up to the green was extremely wet and muddy which makes for bad play. The course has created a temporary 125 yd. Par 3 located between holes 13 & 14. Very acceptable. The temporary green is as good as all of the other greens.
Pace of play was excellent as there was no wait on players ahead of us. Also, the one group behind us was always 2 holes behind us so they never hit down on us. We comfortably played 18 holes in less than 3-1/2 hours including a 10 minute break at the turn to eat our WaWa hoagies.

Good course
This course was definitely fun and well designed. Had a lot of fun playing here. Would recommend it to anyone. My one negative take would be they did not let me walk the course. They should make that known prior to booking.

Course has a lot of elevation changes
First time playing there, fortunately got paired with a veteran course player. 1st few holes were pretty much straight with side by side , sometimes confusing which hole to play if an errant shot.
Although staff was leaf blowing it was difficult to find the ball w remaining leaves and sun glare, but that's the season... overall I'd play there again.

Lots of work done by owner last 2 years. If you havent been there, - make sure you try it. Greens are great.

Traps can use some work Plenty of sand. just hard
Leaves on the greens. Mid afternoon someone could still be keeping the greens clear.

Perfect Fall Day
Got a good hot deal for good value. Course was in excellent shape. Started exactly time of our tee time.
Fairways, tee boxes and greens all in magnificent shape.
Bunkers could use some additional sand.
Greens were fast but true, don’t be above pin.
Staff in pro shop always friendly.
Looking forward to playing here again

No Rangers out
No Rangers out on the course to push play! Punk young kids almost got what they were asking for hitting into our group multiple times! When something was said to them about it by me they sat there looking stupid! Had zero to say! Pennsylvania license plates!
