Traps can use some work Plenty of sand. just hard
Leaves on the greens. Mid afternoon someone could still be keeping the greens clear.

Perfect Fall Day
Got a good hot deal for good value. Course was in excellent shape. Started exactly time of our tee time.
Fairways, tee boxes and greens all in magnificent shape.
Bunkers could use some additional sand.
Greens were fast but true, don’t be above pin.
Staff in pro shop always friendly.
Looking forward to playing here again

No Rangers out
No Rangers out on the course to push play! Punk young kids almost got what they were asking for hitting into our group multiple times! When something was said to them about it by me they sat there looking stupid! Had zero to say! Pennsylvania license plates!

Course to Consider
Course was in good shape for mid|late October. Excellent, regarding amount of leaves on Fairways and Greens for this time of year.
Course can be a little pricey. No Cart Girl , however it was a Thursday. I enjoyed the day.

Haven't been disappointed yet.
Course is always in the optimal shape they can get it. One time in the summer they had rangers watering the fairways on hot days between players. (i.e. I heard the one ranger was like,"yea we have a group teeing off on 3, no one is on 4 and the group teeing off on 5 is gone".) so then they would put the sprinklers on hole 4 fairway and tee box 5. This kept the course in excellent shape compared to many others. Looking forward to coming back and play Golden Pheasant often. Come play you will not be disappointed.

Decent Track 3.5 STARS
3.5 STARS. Decent course with nice greens. A bunch of blind shots, short,and a little quirky but overall pretty decent. You can get around the course pretty easily without taking a wood out of your bag. Unless local, not worth the drive for sat afternoon $75+ green fees.

Different
Some unique holes, particularly the par 3s. A couple of them from an elevated tee.
Imperative to land the ball on the correct side of the fairway on many of the holes. A number of up hill tee shots and with the slopes on the fairways it can cost you distance but if you get it on the right spot, with roll you could have relative short irons into the greens.
Fun course in pretty good shape. Some of the fairways apparently were aerated recently. The green were in good shape, a few of the tee boxes not so much.
Played on a golf now hot deal but still felt it was a little pricey.
Nice touch- complimentary bottled water.
