Bowling Green Golf Club

Got great deal on golf now , so overall already I’m a winner , couple of consistent things going on here , they are always nice and kind to all !!! The course is in good shape from T to G , and the food is always delicious, need I say anymore , thx

I have played Bowling Green many times when I lived in NJ, but I now live in California. I played with my nephews this week. The course is excellent (except the 4th hole which needs full remodel..) and the conditions were very good - the greens were medium speed, i wish they were a little faster. Lots and lots of trees to avoid. Bunkers were decent, tee boxes generally OK. Greens smooth but a tad slow for me. But I like it. Prices have gone up quite a bit since 20 years ago, but if you have the money, enjoy and play, if you don't you can find better value.

Beautiful layout in great shape. Only problem was pace of play. The group two groups in front was slow as molasses, hitting multiple tee shots, taking time looking for lost balls, hitting from the tips with 100 yard drives. 🙄 There is another review on this site which I think is from the group in front of us. He said it took three hours to finish the back nine. My wife and I quit after 12 holes, and it’s a good thing we did. We will definitely give it another shot just based on the staff and the facilities.

Generally a nice course, pretty easy and open however greens were slow although in good shape but slow. Our foursome

Felt that the greens fees were high compared to other well maintained public courses.

I like this course I play it often however yesterday on the back 9 the two groups in front of us were a bunch of drunk buddies taking 2 and 3 shots off the tee each by the last hole they were playing together and it took almost 3 hours to play the final 9 holes .

Played early morning to avoid the crowd. The tee off was right on time. The course was wet, a couple of holes were very soggy, especially in the rough. Generally, the course was in good shape. relatively straight forward golf course lay-out. You see what you get.

It was an expensive round considering the Value for money did not match.

expensive course for me. But it's well worth playing here! nice challenging picturesque course. free driving range. welcoming staff. Nicely cleared of leaves. Wonderful course views. tees and greens in great condition. Good restaurant food.

Great for all skill levels. Challenging enough to keep you coming back but most holes are forgiving. Great little driving range to practice and warm up as well.

Had a great time playing Bowling Green once again. With the exception of the pricing, I love this course. Almost no one there yesterday because of the cold. Unfortunately, there was alot of leaves littering the course. Tee boxes were ok as were traps. We started on 10 and played the back nine first. Once we got done with 18, we made our way back to 1. They let a group of 4 beginners play 9 holes from 1 instead of 10. They jumped in as we approached and slowed down the remaining 9 holes. No one behind us, so we practiced putting while waiting for the group to clear the area before hitting. Since it was only my wife and myself, we didn't ask to play through and just enjoyed our last day of the season playing here. We were all beginners once as well. Will always love Bowling Green!

For the amount of money they are charging, the course does not live up to it! There is geese droppings all over the course, and it can be better maintained if your going to charge that much money!

Everything was expensive. Beers were $12.50. The course advertises a quick round but ours took almost 5.5 hours. This is a woodland course and it is nearly unplayable when the leaves fall off the trees. You need a leaf blower to putt if you play here during the fall.

Course was nice but leaves everywhere. Greens covered in leaves. Absolutely no food. You must have food even if light attendance. No beverage cart and the guy at the desk was rude about the no food
