About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Leaves Everywhere
It's Fall so Difficult to Find Ball with Leaves everywhere and difficult to focus with leaf collector machine roaring, Course layout is tricky, we missed a hole.
New Jersey in the fall is tough
As much as I love playing this course, it was really difficult to play with all the leaves coming off the trees which really has nothing to do with the course layout. It’s just nature.. Would love to go back once the leaves are finally falling because it was impossible to find balls that were hitting into the fairway. We brought our own electric leaf blower and still lost balls
Nice playground and kind staff
It was good experience to play this course.
It was excellence and good experiences.
Worst golfing experience
So the group in front were playing really slow!
Then the ranger for some reason was up our rear end for 15 straight holes he chaperoned our round giving minute to minute updates that nobody was askn for!
Then on hole 15 a ball was sliced onto the 16th fairway
The Ranger went over & picked up the ball & kept it!
Then denied it when confronted!!!
This was the worst experience ever at a golf course
Worst $144.00 ever spent that course is not worth 90$
We will take our business elsewhere!
