About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Great Course
This course is one of my all time favorites in NJ. Crisp well maintained fairways and greens. The staff is also really friendly. A must play!
Good golf
The golf course is beautiful but so wet because of the rain the night before
First time…I’ll return without hesitation.
As a golfer really working on breaking the 100 barrier, I was a bit intimidated heading into my first round at Bowling Green. Well, I didn’t punch through my goal, but I did come close. The course was in great shape and the staff and patrons could not have been friendlier! Can’t wait to go back.
Outstanding Golf Experience
Terrific condition, great staff, plus 4 hour round. Could not have been better.
Pleasant morning course
I was a little disappointed with the aeration, but overall it was good
Great course all around
Wish it was a little cheaper but the course is challenging and in great shape. Be ready for tight fairways and pretty well protected greens. Bunkers were the only part of the course that could be improved.
Solid
Very solid track. Nothing exceptional in terms of design but certainly a very well kept course, fairways are lovely, greens are solid and pace was great on a weekend! Perhaps just slightly overpriced but is what it is…
