About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Nice but not for over $60
This was my 1st time playing. Played on a Sunday at 4pm for $45. I've seen this course on GOLFNOW and it's always pretty expensive from $80-$110. In my opinion if you pay over $60 you got taken. It's a nice course but nothing special. I did love playing in just under 4 hours and the workers are very friendly. The eating area looked great. Although I didn't eat it definitely looked very much worth it.
A bit pricey but well worth it
Caught a last minute Saturday morning time with my son-in-law. We got there 5 minutes before our tee time and the starter graciously sent out another twosome in our place. We had 10 minutes to warm up which was good and were paired with two fine players. The course is pretty tight on the front nine with some good elevation changes. The greens are fantastic- soft and undulating. They are pretty fast on downhill putts which sometimes were so subtle, they were hard to read. Another few rounds here will help. Local knowledge is key on this course. I’ll be back for sure!!

Pace of play amazing. Played 18 is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Teed off at 7:00 and was done by 10:30. Amazing. Never waited once. The course is tight. Not much room error. Back 9 is more Forgiving. Course was in the shape I would expect for April. Little wet for the recent rains and was cart oath only. For the $110 seemed a little pricey. But was a Sunday morning tee time so I guess it is to be expected. Would play again. Not sure at that green fee though.

Nice layout, generous landing areas ..greens were recently aerated, but overall course was in decent shape considering we just had a full day of rain..would definitely come back
Awesome Course
One of my favorite courses to play. Excellent layout and course is consistently in phenomenal shape. You will pay a premium to play preferred tee times but you still walk away feeling as though you got your money’s worth. Will and do always recommend getting this track in.

Little soggy due to recent rain but still very good walking. For early spring course in great shape

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice course layout. A few holes were a little wet, likely due to the fact that its still early in the season and snow still melting off.
Good combination of 3 pars, long holes, a couple over water hazards, dog legs. etc.
