About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Pleasant morning course
I was a little disappointed with the aeration, but overall it was good
Great course all around
Wish it was a little cheaper but the course is challenging and in great shape. Be ready for tight fairways and pretty well protected greens. Bunkers were the only part of the course that could be improved.
Solid
Very solid track. Nothing exceptional in terms of design but certainly a very well kept course, fairways are lovely, greens are solid and pace was great on a weekend! Perhaps just slightly overpriced but is what it is…
1st time
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with everything. The course felt like a standard muni and thought the $100/person was a bit on the high side. $60 with cart would be justified.
Slow play ruined the day
Teed off at 9:30am this morning and didn’t finish until 2:40pm, 5 hour 10 minute round.
Waited every shot for all 18 holes
If there were rangers, never saw them.
The pins were set up unusual positions, almost championship level locations, which I am sure contributed to the delays.
