About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

This is a great course with great conditions. Beautiful setting and would highly recommended playing this scenic course during peak fall season, picturesque!
Beautiful course!
Very beautiful and a great layout. The course is kept in excellent condition! It’s a challenging but very fair course. The par 5 18th is a bear so be prepared! If u haven’t played this course it’s a must. One of the truly best courses in jersey. Very nice courteous staff as well! Love it!

Beautiful course with a tough layout. I was lucky enough to be paired with a lovely couple that had a lot of knowledge of the course.
A Great Shot makers Course
Has a great time playing Bowling Green. The course was in good staple and the greens were playing fast.
Very nice course, way overpriced
Had a great morning playing Bowling Green this weekend. Really enjoyed the round, nice layout, just keep it in the fairway and it's a fairly easy track from any tee.
2 pieces of feedback... this felt more like a $70 round, nowhere near worth $105 with mats on a 196yd driving range. Also, there are no indicators ANYWHERE that help you understand the hole you're playing. Nothing on the scorecard showing layout, no silhouettes on the tee markers... makes for a frustrating tee shot in a number of holes.
All in all, greens were super receptive and approach shots would bite and spin nicely, they were in good shape and rolled true.
Bowling Green
Top course in the area, and I’ve played almost all of the public venues up here. The course is in great shape, we’ll maintained, greens excellent, great value for the price.
