About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Always look forward to playing the grand old courses.
Great design and well maintained. Actual sand in the traps. Challenging and enjoyable. Will be back.
Nice Course - extremely slow
Had a 5 hour round. Rangers and management came out multiple times to try and speed up the group ahead of us but unfortunately didn’t help.

Great condition overall. Greens very quick, traps excellent pace off play terrific. Will be back fort sure.
Absolute rip off
I have always loved playing bowling green and was excited to come back. When I saw the cost was 120$ I was a little surprised but figured it would be in the excellent shape. I was wrong. Charging 120$ for beat up greens, overgrown tee boxes and poor conditions in areas of the rough and fairways is absolutely ridiculous. I’m sad that I will never come back here as it used to be one of my favorite courses in the area.
