About
Bowling Green Golf Club is in the heart of northern New Jersey, surrounded by miles of idyllic countryside. An abundance of mature oaks and towering red pines characterizes the scenic course. This quick, shady layout is a great round for walkers. The golf course has a classic links design that is easily played in less than four hours. Like most traditional links courses, the gently undulating terrain has the perfect pitch and roll. It also provides each hole with unique challenges that require accuracy and strategy. Trees heavily line the fairways, presenting some of the course's most formidable challenges. Bowling Green Golf Club's front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine, which incorporates the natural ponds and wetlands on a few holes. There are also some tricky doglegs to contend with.

Good shape, well maintained course, and perfect green condition!

Great condition overall. Greens very quick, traps excellent pace off play terrific. Will be back fort sure.
Absolute rip off
I have always loved playing bowling green and was excited to come back. When I saw the cost was 120$ I was a little surprised but figured it would be in the excellent shape. I was wrong. Charging 120$ for beat up greens, overgrown tee boxes and poor conditions in areas of the rough and fairways is absolutely ridiculous. I’m sad that I will never come back here as it used to be one of my favorite courses in the area.
Excellent Service
This course is great, but the best thing about it is the service that you get while you are here. Autumn has to be one of the best cart girls in the area conversation is great and her detailed service is second to none. Once you are done golfing, you had into the Beer Garden and that’s where Jill’s expertise of service takes over. Whether you are having the burnt ends or the loaded fries or the buffalo wings or maybe all of them you never have to wonder where your server is because Jill is the best in the area. The course plays great. It is tight in areas, but forgiving in other areas to make up for that. Definitely a must try it if you’ve never been. Or put it in the weekly rotation, and become a regular.
