Golfer Reviews
Don’t allow walkers
My only criticism is they don’t allow you to walk until after 1 on weekends. This makes no sense to me. I don’t mind paying for a cart prime time but walking makes for better pace of play as your going directly to your ball instead of taking a cart to one golfers ball waiting for him to hit then driving all the way to the opposite side of the course to for the other golfer to hit which is what most players sharing a cart do. I’ve walked this course several times and it’s an easy walk
I don’t know if it’s just because I was younger but this course seemed to have gone downhill since I’ve last played it. The starter was very rude to me and the group I got paired with. To start, I booked a tee time for one golfer thru GolfNow and when I arrived they set me up in my own cart. But when the other group arrived I was forced to sit in the cart with some one I didn’t know. With COVID and everything that is going on with the world I was disappointed that I was unable to ride alone. Then the starter told me they were short on carts as there were several lined up ready to go out and multiple more inside the cart barn. The biggest disappointment was the conditions. Ball marks, divots, bunkers/mud trap, the best part of the course were the tee boxes. This place used to hold a lot of childhood memories for me, unfortunately it is now hard to remember them.
Great course
Great course
Clubhouse and bathroom worn
Guy in pro shop has a attitude
Starter did not care much
Slow Play
Course condition and layout was great. The problem was when you tee off at 4:00 pm, pace of play is important to get done. The pace was painfully slow. Somehow there was a group of 5 playing ahead of us which slowed down the entire course. We could not finish the last 2 holes.
This course is awesome bang for the buck!
I have previously worked Pennsauken CC grounds crew and man has this course come along really nice. Tee to green this course us gorgeous. Give it a try!
really nice public course
the course was in great shape. Greens rolled nice. The rough was high making the course difficult and balls harder to find. this place is a good challenge.
Pennsauken 5.23
Had a great time during my round. pace of play was a little slow at times. we started off the back nine. there was an earlier tournament. once those players were off the course, play picked up. we finished a little over 4 hours. I enjoy playing during the week when I can and get a round in about 3 to 3 1/2 hours
