Nice course
It’s early March so course conditions weren’t perfect but the course was in very good shape considering. The hole layout was straight fairways and kind of repetitive. The golf carts and staff were first class. I look forward to playing this course again a little later in the year to see it in normal condition. Great course for player that drives straight and long . fun course.
Friday at PCC
Little chilly but tolerable. We were a twosome going out just after start. The carts have restriction software to keep the carts out of areas that can’t support travel. Well they mostly worked. We had some maintenance crews working close to fairways too. I’m good but I’m not that consistent. I had to hold up a couple times before striking. I know it’s necessary but could they just open later to accommodate this work?
After the round we got some awesome food at the temporary Marco’s. Can’t wait to go to the original location for the cafe instead of the temp. spot upstairs.
Great Course
Very open and easy to play, just a lot of geese poop lol.
Fantastic Shape for January Golf
I might have been one of 8 people on the course the whole day. Conditions we really good. You even saw course crew out and about cleaning up. One of my favorite courses when I can get on the for a good price
Slow but nice
Waited on the tee box for 5-10 mins nearly every single hole but that is not entirely the courses fault but the 10 minutes apart tee times should extended to 12-14 mins. That couple of minutes would have made the round much more enjoyable. Greens are super nice, fairways are great, carts are new, not overly expensive.
Expensive
It’s a good course with some challenging holes but now it’s just too expensive. The value just isn’t there for a township course with no amenities.
Great way to the end the year
Got to play on an unseasonably warm 60 degree NYE! Only wish was greater spacing on the tee times as the front 9 was a lot of waiting on the groups ahead.
Great Staff
After a 3 hour frost delay we were only an hour late starting from our tee time. Course is good shape for December & certainly worth playing again
Great course!
Love the course, I keep coming back! Staff is friendly enough, they will pair you though.
Monday at PGC while under construction
Glad I had mobile check-in because of the rerouted path to get to the pro shop to check in, is a bit annoying. I’ll be glad when the asphalt gets finished too since getting around to the starting holes (frt or bk) is a bit of an obstacle course using old paths. But
Besides that, the course was pretty clear of leaves and the greens were pretty good. More signage to fix ball marks would be worth it. Glad to see the carts actually had filled divot mix bottles. The new cart permission system was pretty annoying because it would show out of bound areas but would trip in non boundary areas too. I guess someone complained because they came out half way thru and said the system was turned off.
Afterwards, Marco’s was a good place for a drink and food. The menu was fresh and enjoyable. It will be interesting when the new Marco’s opens downstairs.
Nicest round of the year
I have been wanting to go here for the longest time. Finally found a deal ($53) with a great price and will be back anytime I can get that price again!
Andrew and Ethan were both really helpful with my reservations and check in. All staff was very friendly and the course is gorgeous. Fast greens made for some challenging short game but it's more fun that way.
Impressed at how few leaves were on the course at this time of year as well.
10/10 would recommend and return.
There are no drink carts driving around but I'm fairly certain you can bring your own (not positive).
The daily tee time cost without a hot deal is definitely on the pricey side, but I'd expect it from a course this nice.
Great place to “golf”
Always in well manicured!!
Pace of play usually good considering the large amount of play they get. They will fill every foursome if possible.
Never have been the most friendly staff, Going back 30 years. On the phone or in person.
Birthday party golf
Lots of presents but still plays like a hi handicap for me. Greens were hard and fast.
Rude Staff
Arrived with a friend who was injured who wanted to sit in and ride along with me. My group had a spare slot so assumed a small fee for ride along (or free) as most clubs do.
Was rudely told by a person named Zac that ride alongs not allowed and that I’d have to pay the full amount for my friend to ride along. I’m Australian so it could be different in the states but ride alongs unless at a private course are never denied especially in the scenario of an inured player let alone told to pay the full rate of a round ($70-$80 USD) for the privilege.
No apology for the inconvenience or consideration for the distance we’d travelled to play. I was again rudely tossed a voucher to come back another time.
I will say that this isn’t a review of the course itself, the course I’ve heard is ok - I won’t ever know as I was due to leave and there were frost delays the following days that didn’t align with my schedule.
Overall just didn’t appreciate the lack of empathy for my injured friend and rude nature of the staff.
I won’t bother returning, I played some great rounds at Springfield, Rancocas & Spring Hollow all of which have friendly staff and are very helpful.
