The Meadows at Middlesex Golf Club

Everything was good just on the back nine There was some group playing with like 12 guys on the green .next to us …we were teeing off no big deal they were enjoying themselves 😼😼then on 17 we found a wedge we asked the group ahead of us. They took it …the wedge it turns out it wasn’t there club another guy driving around looking for it. Ridiculous. I guess we’ll just turn them into the pro shop. From now on.!! I guess their father‘s never taught them integrity

I was able to book for a discounted rate due to the rain. If you paid full price for the round it would be an absolute rip off. This is a $35 muni all day. Beware, no driving range or chipping area to warm up; just a very small putting green and a net. Beers were good though.

I expected far greater conditions due to the kind of spring we have had. Most courses in the area are in incredible shape right now. Meadows is obviously struggling with conditioning, which has always been an issue for the past 10-15 years. The county continues pumping money into their other properties, while others struggle. The ponds are horrendous, fairways are sporadic, tees are very bad, and the greens are slow and unevenly mowed. There are geese issues every year, and a constant nuisance of neighboring residences that allow kids on the course. The “bunkers” are nothing but holes in the ground.

It’s telling that a lot of the recent positive reviews are being made by the same person, possible an employee at the course. Be weary before booking a round here.

Course was in Great shape. Greens in VG condition and Consistent. Fairways cut real nice. Must have a different person in charge. They r putting a Real effort into this course. And it shows!!!

Great layout. Must be a different superintend. All the greens were in nice shape and consistent. Fairways were also in good shape. Looks like they r def doing work there. Go enjoy!!!

The front 9 was ok but the fairways on the back 9 were in horrible condition. I will never play there again

Other than a couple tee boxes looking like late summer the course was in good shape.

We couldn’t even putt on a few holes due to goose feces interfering with the line.

Rough wasn’t cut. Lost balls just off the fairway numerous times. Bunkers were mud baths. Greens were slow and shaggy. No driving range or hitting bays. No real ProShop for gear, but the indoor staff was friendly. Very slow play and no rangers to help. Very poorly managed and badly manicured course.

Huge positive to the 19th hole, food was amazing.

Always enjoy playing here. The grounds are pretty well kept, and the staff are always polite and accommodating. Plus you cant beat 5 tall boys on ice for 20$. 40-60$ to play is definitely worth it here.

This was my first time playing Meadows at Middlesex. I was paired with three friendly local golfers and I had a great time. The course has a good design and will challenge golfers of all levels. The course needs some general maintenance and appears to have been neglected for a few years but I was assured by the pro shop that improvements were underway and that appeared to be the case. I would play the course again.
