Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Spooky Brook is worth a trip
Some of the better county course greens this year. Challenging in length but allows you to spray the driver a bit. Great staff. Fun course.

If you want to have a fun time on a course that is not as challenging, this is the course for you. It is well maintained.
If you are looking for a nice and easy course well maintained at a reasonable rate, this is the course for you.
Low-stress, easy-going course
Wide fairways, few hazards, relatively flat course makes for a relaxing, forgiving course to walk a round. Being a mid-high handicap, the setup takes out a lot of frustrations that build up when you're not having the best day.
This is not a course that offers a huge challenge, but a reprieve to work on your game while enjoying a round.
A good walk (ride) and good people
For a muni-course I say go, enjoy! The starter paces things about right and the people are always welcoming!!
