Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Spooky in great shape
No complaints. Course is in great shape. Will be back again soon. Staten Island golf is trash and it’s worth it to cross the bridge.
Great Golf Course
Staff was friendly. Course was in very good shape and appears well maintained. Excellent value for the money.
Efficient staff
The staff at spooky Brook is not only friendly, but extremely efficient. It took seconds in the clubhouse to get my receipt printed. The starter advanced several of us from later teetimes to join groups where one or two of the foursome had not shown up. Could not ask for more.
Greens in great shape.
From the time we arrived it was a great experience....1st face you see is Bob.....extremely pleasant, friendly and greeted us with a smile (Great way to start your round. So many courses have unpleasant greeters. We had a great round. The course was in great shape. We had a wonderful round of golf. Greens were exceptional.
Great shape
Conditions were great. Sand in bunkers was a bit lacking, but not the worst I’ve seen. Still very playable…trust me, I had many opportunities to try.
Enjoyable day
Spooky Brook is a fnice course , wide fairways relatively flat greens and very good conditions. The pace was very good except for a single we were paired with that easily added 30 minutes to the round. The group in front of us were probably at home by the time we finished. The groups behind I'm ver y sorry we tried to push but no luck
