Nice Layout
Very good condition, soft, nice layout, only the bunkers were not clean, some rocks on the surface.
Amazing conditions, even with Covid.
It’s early in the year, and we’re dealing with Covid restrictions and such, but this course is still immaculately kept. Last year I played over 10 different courses and none of them had ball washers, towels, or divot repair bottles on tees or in carts. Mercer Oaks had all of them! Also the bunkers are already filled with new sand, you’re not hitting out of the muddy crap that was under the snow for two months like most courses around here. I was very happy with how the east course is laid out too, traditional links style with crazy bunkers and a good amount of water, few trees.
Spring golf
playing golf in March is hard due to the ever changing weather conditions. Somewhat wet and cloudy was the weather for today. No rain since it rained earlier. Then it started getting warmer. Typical spring weather in March for golfing. Cold, warm, dry, wet, it covers all the bases. Greens were fast and fairways were in decent condition for the spring weather. Would play again
Nice
I played this course in January. It's a links style course (except for the 17th?). However all of the fescue and rough was cut down for the season, making it easier to play. Its a pretty and challenging layout. However, the course was covered with goose droppings. It's a nice course and good value if you use the hot deal.
Cold wet windy - GolfNow Rip Off
Booked 2 tee times from GolfNow and paid $59 plus tax/fee walking. Hooked up with 2 others: 1 local and other who also booked using GolfNow but he paid only $35 with cart. How does that happen when we both booked them at similar time?
We played Mercer Oaks East (West course was closed). Great layout but the fairways, bunkers and tee boxes were totally wet (rained previous day). Greens were in good condition. Fairway was full of goose droppings. Strong wind made it very challenging to play. Otherwise, course layout is great. Hopefully will get to play the West course this year.
Nice course
I played on the East course before. It is a very nice link course. Many sand traps come in play on most of the holes.
Unfortunately, the course was full of bird crap all over including on the greens!
The course looked like it has not been taken care a while. Otherwise, it is a nice course and I would love to play there again without the bird crap!
Ball Washera
The course was great as always, the only complaint I have was that some of the ball washers were completely dry and didn't have any water in them.
