Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

WORST COURSE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO!!
If you would like to play in dirt from the tee box to the fairways this is the place to be! The starter also told me it was a privilege to play here when i told them the course was absolutely nothing like the images online. Shame! Also watch out for iguana dropping all over the greens. I would never return. i left after 3 holes it was unbearable i didnt even get to finish playing. I dont understand how anyone could rate it anything higher than a 1. Save your time and money. Go somewhere else. Also it was very difficult to find the course. #bunkerteebox
Updates Desperately Needed
The course has great potential, but it has aged. The parking lot, clubhouse, restaurant all look like they were last updated 20-30 years ago. Of the 6 courses we played in Southern Florida, this was the most disappointing. Also, they charged $11 for a transfusion at the turn. Why take advantage of someone like that… won’t be back.
Palmaire
Course gets a lot of play…Fairways could use some attention as there was several bald patches. Greens were in excellent condition.
Group in front of us were slow and therefore caused us to wait to tee off.
We were not able to finish 18 holes due to torrential rain.
Great day of golf at Palm Aire
Played this course in the morning. Pace of play was good. We played in under 4 hours. Course was in good shape. The greens rolled well. The staff was great, shout out to Vikki in the clubhouse. I would play here again.
Review
Clubhouse a disaster was not updated in 60 years
No signage on course for yardage
No ball washers
It’s just OK
I try to stay positive and all of my reviews, so I’ll start with the good stuff first. Played as a solo matched up with three super cool guys. The greens are impeccable pace of play below average.
Lots of dog leg lefts. Course must’ve been designed by a lefty with a power fade.
I’m sure other people are gonna give it five stars and that’s fine we get out of what we want when we play a new place
good golf poor facilities
Arrived to find no food service , bar closed, limited drinks in the shop and no ice machine,
the facilities are in poor condition, seating outside is non excitant like you cannot sit outside, toilets are broken open bar out of order and the general condition of the club is shabby to dirty.
come prepared bring your own beer food water snacks and ice
Not our best golf experience
One of the most poorly run golf courses I have experienced in all my years of golfing. Not enough carts, large clubhouse restaurant but only hot dogs and cannot check in until 15 minutes before tee time. Only staff that was friendly was the bar tender. No drink person on the course. Course vending machine takes cash only and not functional.
Tee boxes and fairways very dry. Just not a well maintained course. Surprised they have 4 star reviews overall. We are not very fussy people but we’re disappointed by our experience here. Several sand traps had no rakes (thankfully did not have too many of those shots! :-))
Overall very tired course. They Could charge a bit more and spend a little money to make it far better. Won’t be back.
