Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club

About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

Terrible conditions
Unfortunately after booking on GolfNow and being charged a total of $73 per person, we arrived to find the course having punched greens and lots of sand on the green. The course was charging $40 a round, so far less than GolfNow.
Pace of play was very slow, with the group in front of us running riot on the course, playing without shirts on, spending 10 minutes chatting on the green. No marshal in sight.
Not the best experience
Wet but ok
Started raining right before we were to tee off. Got of pretty much on time. Greens good and fast. Rollled true. Fairways and tees spotty but ok. Layout is interesting. You can see what happens when trees grow up. Some interesting sight lines. Fun on to play. Would play again
Do Not Play at this Place
I have played all over the country and around the world. I was so excited and looking forward to seeing the course based on the pictures and the fact that was in Florida. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. I know that at times the greens or the courses are not up to par to play but in this case the entire course was a mess. Weeds, bald spots, brown spots were about 96% of the course. The price did not reflect the accommodations. It cost me $56 to play in a $15 course. It was awful. The course itself was way below average. Do not play at this place. I would not recommend it to my worse enemy.
Wet Sunday
Waited for rain showers to pass to start. Paired with local single, which helped. Greens best condition on course Fairways an d tees ok. Interesting layout, lots of visual tricks. Greens fast and true.
Make Sure You Pass
40 years of playing golf might be the worst condition golf course ever played. For $65 bucks, take your money elsewhere. The round also took almost five hours and wasn’t that crowded. Hopefully they get new management or turn this into a park.
Not bad
Not a bad course to play. Greens were very nice. Have to hunt to find grass in fairways. Tees a little rough, too.
Very Decent Course
Worth the money… Greens we’re in very good condition, fairways a bit burnt..
Needs Some Tender Living Care
One can only imagine the course conditions during the summer. During the winter season hardly much grass to be found on the fairways and tee boxes in poor condition. Most of the greens are okay but still some rough spots throughout.
Close could be in better shape
Coolest had a lot of rain the week before I played. But conditions need improvement.
Time for an upgrade
Tee Boxes were solid, fairways fine and greens just alright.
But the on course amenities were really run down. Couldn't find any ball washers or water jugs. A lot of dilapidated structures that serve no purpose and make it look outdated and dumpy.
The mens locker-room was a dumb.
No way was this a $65 dollar round. They need to invest
Good playable course
Golf course continues to be very playable for most amateur golfers.
Staff/Starters think their sh@! doesn’t stink and rude and condescending.
