Spook is the same
Greens were slooooooooowwwwww.
Then you have to pound your putz and there's no way to keep a putting line.
And the whole course needs to be mowed - everywhere.
But in retrospect..nothing has changed at Spook Rock since I first played there in 1984.

Love this course. Fun layout, greens were in great shape, although a little slow. Pace of play was excellent.

A bit disappointed with conditions at this course this year. First time playing it this year. Rough was all over the place and cut uneven. Greens were a bit beat up and I wouldn’t even hit a bunker shot due to the golf ball sized rocks in most of them.

I know it's still early in the season but this course was in the worst shape ever. The greens were so slow. Even my downhill putts stopped before they reached the hole. I noticed they were aerating the fairways, which were awful, especially on the front nine. We waited on every hole and it never opened up. It was even worse by the time we got to the 13th hole. We did more waiting then playing. I used to love playing this course but it really seems to have gone downhill.

Avoid the bunkers as you will be hitting your ball off concrete sand
The greens are dead when you hit hit the ball on them, no roll. It’s early spring and fairways aren’t bad.
