Course was in immaculate condition. Greens played true and fair wars in great shape.
Moderate Challenge With Plenty of Water Hazards
The course is in good shape and the greens have been aerated. The problem we had was with the golf carts. The carts track your location and every time you stray off the cart path the carts stop moving. You had to constantly backup to get back on the cart path to get them to run again. The pace of play was good and we enjoyed the lunch in the Sonoma grille.
First time, won't be last
I played a scramble tournament here and truly enjoyed the course. Looking forward to get back for a full round.
Nice Course - Head Pro is a Jerk
Rotella is a well kept public course but that's where it ends. It used to be my home course but that ends now. Mike the head pro is a petty, thin-skinned jerk who likes to run his mouth about everyone but if you say anything back to him, he uses his position at the course against you. Totally unprofessional. After spending THOUSANDS of dollars on lessons and clubs, you would think that you would be treated with some respect but Mike thinks he is bigger than the business so I'll be taking mine elsewhere.
My favorite course in the area, we’ll maintaimed, great layout
Great Local course
Like all courses, pace depends on who you happen to be behind. After many rounds here, typical pace is 4.5 hours. Have played in 3.5 up to a high of 5.5. course is always in great shape. Interesting course layout; not always best to grip it and rip it.
Horrible Experience
I've always heard great things about this place, but always ended up playing patriot hills or ny country club which is in the same area.
I have to say that this place was horrendous...pace of play was horrible (5.5 hrs) and employees were very rude. Was summed up with 3 elderly ladies which is fine, issue is that i drive the ball 300 yards and play from the back tees. Most courses would put me in my own cart, but not here...they were rude and unhelpful and i will likely never come back.
Solid course
Second time playing. Enjoyed the layout of the course. Greens were a good speed, could be faster. The ground is very hard so many shots rolled through the greens. Overall, fun course and good value at twilight rate.
Easy to book
I like the fact that booking a tee time from your home makes it much simpler to know you will enjoy a round of golf.
Great golf for Rockland County!
For the money, this course is great. It's challenging and forgiving all at the same time and the greens sometimes plays like Augusta!
Rockland gem
Beautifully maintained course. Ranger kept pace of play moving. Great mix of challenges from bunkers, water and hills.
Quick 9 holes
Got out with my sons to play a quick 9, Some blind shots on the front. Course was in good shape and we flew through the 9 in about 90 mins. Will return.
