Phillip J. Rotella Memorial Golf Course

Very nice and challenging course with great scenery. Staff was friendly -- quickly loaded up our cart -- and got us our quickly. The pace of play was a problem with a slow threesome ahead of us and the course was very crowded despite it being a somewhat cold morning in November. The marshal checked in with us a couple of times apologizing for the slow pace. There are some long par-3s and some tee shots that require some distance to clear water, as well as a par-5 with water guarding your approach shot. Course was in very nice condition. Would play there again.

Positives: friendly staff, good value for the money, pace of play was excellent.

Negatives: Greens were a little slow and too many par 3's.

As of October 2015, the course is in fantastic condition. Fast greens, checkerboard fairways. Truly a pleasure to play this course. Played on a Sunday at 9:30, so it was crowded. It took us about 2:00 to play the front, but the back was log-jammed, so overall about 4:30. But this course was worth it. Plays considerably longer than the card as you drive into significant upslopes on half the par 4s and 5s. Leaves in the rough will make finding off-line shots difficult in the next few weeks, but the scenery is great. I'll definitely be back.

and we were done like 5:15.
We usually finish in 4 hours and 10 minutes I am only the beginner the rest my players were advanced.
I wish they could keep the pace cause this course is not public

There was a heavy rain fortnight. Therefore some of the holes were quite wet, however overall course conditions were good.

Nice challenging course. My issue is 4 par 3's on the front. Kind of feels like an executive course at one point. Cannot use all your clubs. Back 9 is longer and more interesting.

Had 2pm tee time, was able to Tee off at 1:45pm. Round was 4 hours 15 mutes. Course is playing well. Only con was 7th hole being converted to a par 3.... A beautiful hole ruined.

The pace of play was good. The course was in good shape. Had an enjoyable round.

Played on a Wed afternoon pace of play was excruciatingly slow. 4Hrs 50 min. I've played in outings that played in less time. Not a ranger to be found on the course, at least I didn't see any during my odyssey at the course. Too bad, it's a nice layout but I can't deal with that time frame

This course was in great shape like 2years ago but this year is the worse the green is slow the staff is very rude I'm not play again

Played on a Saturday. There was a tournament going on in front of us. Guys kept coming back through us to the tee because they couldn't find their tee shot. Would never hit a provisional. Holes were backed up like crazy. The round took over six hours because of this "tournament". You would have thought these guys were playing a PGA major. Rangers were a joke; very timid and did not do their job keeping the pace of play moving. Terrible experience.

Got a 4:20pm tee time for $45 thinking I could get a full round in by 8:30. On the 12th green i was told by the ranger that the course closes at 7:30 and that I needed to leave. They have the audacity to take tee times as late as 5:50 and charge good money knowing that they close in an hour and a half. When I called the pro shop the next day to explain what had happened they told me to read their course policies next time before I go out and that their was nothing more they could do for me. Would NOT recommend anyone else playing this course and getting taken advantage of.

Great course with some challenging greens. But, beware the water hazards on the back 9; 14, 15, and 16.

Enjoy playing this course. Just be cautious on the 5th hole driving down the switchback turns are slippery, causing tires to slide

Although we played in just over 4 hrs the pace was a little slow and we were a foursome playing behind a threesome who were playing behind a twosome. Staff was VERY nice. Course was in pretty good shape. Would play there again

Walked onto the tee starter tells me I am late, i tell him i have 2pm he starts telling me he has 2:01 and that he should not let me out on the course. After a few minutes of him yelling at me he tells me that he will let me play if I promise to let any group that comes up behind me to play through. What he fails to tell me is that the group ahead of me is a foursome of very slow old women. Stood over every shot for 6-7 minutes and even after complaining to a ranger about pace of play 3 hours to play 9 I was not allowed to pass this foursome ahead of me as a single player. Will never recommend this course to anyone and will not go back to play

The course was nice. If you live in the town the price is perfect but for a non resident it's pricey.

Played this course for first time in several years. Much improved since I last played. Fairways are lush, tee boxes are good and sand is okay. Greens are healthy but a bit slow. It's got some very good holes and a couple of strange ones. A par 3 on the back 9 has been converted to a challenging par 4 with a layup drive, 3 wood, or less and a shot over water to green well guarded by a big bunker. Overall it's a pretty nice track and worth playing. I'll be back again.
