Greens were mostly sand. They did have a note saying the greens were recovering but for the price was not worth anywhere near the price charged.
Under Repair
A lot of repair work in progress especially on the greens. Hopefully it will pay off soon but didn’t look very good nor like it was improving. Have played here many times before and staff is always friendly and helpful.
Better choices available
Greens were inconsistent, some had been top dressed, others not. Fairways very thin for Florida course.
Great time
Staff was outstanding helpful and very friendly! Course was beautiful and fun to play. Would definitely return!
Bad greens
The greens are in very bad condition. It looks like some of them should be shut down to save them.
This course isn’t in best shape
After they finish path paving, over-seeding and othe work, it should be nicer. On site restaurant is excellent.
Nice Course But Greens Are a Mess
Greens weee in horrible condition for the price we paid. Course layout is fun. Maybe next time I can rate it higher
First Time at this course it
Recent rain made this course a swamp, Greens are in terrible shape. Not worth the money, even if it’s the only course on the island
Green were the WORST
Every green was covered in sand and ripped apart, can’t believe they don’t give a notice before you book, I love golf and have played 100 plus rounds and never seen something like this.
Poor winter greens management
I don’t believe Fog causes turf decay as counter staff stated. However, not catching the fungus that can set in with adverse conditions can. But what do I know, other than the greens were in very rough shape and the worst part of the round. They were fast and smooth except for large patches of yuck and sand.
I like the course layout and the challenges presented.
The course is way to expensive for what is provided.
Not so well in Sanibel
Greens and tee boxes awful. Fairways were exactly that, fair. Over priced.
Don’t play here!
Total DOG TRACK! I can’t believe they get over $125 for this place. Greens couldn’t be in worse condition if they tried. Find another place or just throw your money in the trash. Only good thing was the lady in the Pro Shop. She was nice but unfortunately it didn’t offset the horrific experience they call a golf course. Yes the pictures are of their greens! #GolfPurgatory
