Sanibel Island Golf Club

I loved the course. Greens are in fabulous condition. The fairways need work due to then being under water due to the hurricanes for the last 3 yrs. I can't wait for them to have it fully restored.

Staff preinformed about hurrican as well as water damages. Superior friendly staff inside and outside of club house.

Well let’s start with after 2 hurricanes and a tropical storm the course is in great shape. Yeah the fairways are tough but again the storms put a whipping on them. Pace of play was good and the staff were warm and inviting. For what they went through the greens are amazing. Will be back!

Sanibel GC, like the rest of the island got hammered over the past few years with hurricaines and storms, but "out of the ashes", the course has risen and is fun to play. OK, because the owner (Drew, who is often the guy who'll grab you clubs and put them on a cart) focused on the greens and tees, some fairways have large patches of dirt and short weeds. But it's a challenging full 18 holes with more than a few surprises. Of the two public courses, SGC is cheaper ($100 vs $250) and more friendly. I'd give it a try! George

This course was hit hard by hurricane Ian two years ago. It is still recovering and won’t be at 100% for a while. The positives are that the greens are terrific, the nature is everywhere, the staff is wonderful and the location is beautiful.
