About
Oak Valley Golf Club boasts the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in the Winston-Salem area. The course sprawls across what used to be old dairy farmland, nestled in the North Carolina foothills. Palmer utilized the rolling, wooded terrain and transformed the site into one of the Triad’s most scenic golf courses. The layout presents many challenges, including strategically placed sand traps along the undulating greens. You will also come across a fair amount of water hazards throughout the golf course. Palmer, known for his "go for broke" playing style, incorporated several interesting risk-reward holes and it has become what the course is known for. Good drives will be generously rewarded while an errant shot will make it tough to even get a bogey. Oak Valley Golf Club is a favorite among local golfers.

Very Nice Course
Course was in very good condition. Greens were in very good condition. Fairway was in good condition for this time of year. Pace of play was great for the front 9 but slow on the back. People complain about price but it is the standard for this area. Much better than most other places like Raleigh, Charlotte, or places up north. One of the regular courses I play in the area. Very nice and challenging layout.
Just a great course
I have played here quite a few times. The greens are always good and if people would repair their ball marks, I’d call them nearly perfect.
My ONLY complaint is that they’ve raised their rates to an almost unreasonable point. I love the course but I may have to find another that’s more affordable.
Fun course
This course is set for everyone to enjoy. I found it very challenging, but fair. Try this course I am sure you will play it again and again. I know I will now.
Fun Tract
All in good condition.Got backed up on 16 tee but still managed to get around in 4:15. Open fairways, with a good variety of shots required. Would definitely recommend.
Great course
Paired up with couple also first time on the course. Challenging and conditions were exceptional. Highly recommend

Greens were a little slow due to an aerification not completely healed.
Gem!
This place is a gem! For an October round the course was in amazing condition. A challenging track that really puts a premium on hitting fairways. Great green complexes and the staff in the proshop were great! Got paired with some locals which helped since it was my first time there! Grab some sweet fall deals at 20% in the shop too 👍
A Favorite Course
Overall, course in great condition. Was able to book online with a Value time and with $10 Golf Pass credit. Great deal for this course. Greens were a little slower than normal for this course. Even though booked as a fourth of three already signed up, ended up playing alone. Was not held up much though. Nice day to be on the course.
Labor Day Weekend
Greens were punched about 3 weeks ago but they were in great shape, soft. Every shot I hit into a green almost stoped immediately. Love the layout of the front nine, that is all I time to play. Can’t wait to play all 18.
