Good Course
Cherokee National is a good course in Gaffney. It’s private. But it’s not pristine. Conditions on par with your better than average public course. Most tee boxes and fairways were ok. Greens were pretty good. Almost healed all the way from being punched. Bunkers didn’t have enough sand in most of them. Rough was thick in spots. Thin in others. Layout is interesting and relatively long. Not a ton of hazards in play. But it does have some length to it. Front 9 is more forgiving off the tee. Back 9 much tighter and more doglegs. If you can get on. It’s worth playing. But it’s not spectacular
