Very chaotic and nasty rude workers
Try my best to not leave negative reviews but this place was special. Walked into golf shop/office at 815 with an 840 tee time. Line of people out the door without tee times. Man behind the counter was very frustrated and visually upset because he had so much to enter into computer and was very slow at everything he did. This man was also very rude not only to myself but a lot of other customers. Any questions we asked were ignored or the response was very rude. Made us wait in line u til after our tee time so he could fill up the waiting list. Once we jumped through hoops just to get signed in on sign in sheet plus small cards with tons of information we had questions about where to go and you would have thought we were criminals. Besides that the course was very unkempt. Carts were trash. I've putted on shag carpet better than their greens. The only positive was we only wasted $24 a person. Oh and dont look for food that doesn't exist. Heard multiple times golfnow messed everything up and they were the cause of the problems they were experiencing. Well I feel like golfnow had zero to do with their nasty attitudes and just being a decent person. Will never return to play here even if it was free.
Meh
It was okay the first 9, pace of play was awesome. As we came around there was 3 older gentlemen waiting on the tee box for some reason. They could’ve hit, they then out of no where start getting super rude saying we have the tee box and play here every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. We are members here and we don’t let anyone play through blah blah blah. Then they proceed to each hit it about 75 yards.
Great layout
Greens way better this time some dead spots. The few holes have blind shots do need a bell. The cost is awesome for this 9 holes of golf. The staff super friendly. The pro shop has vending machines and water stations on course.i Will be playing this weekly from here on out.
Very cheap round, that’s about it. Greens are nonexistent .
I would compare this course to playing golf at a driving range but having a cart to drive to different parts of the range.
Municipal course
Fun layout but greens need work and some holes have blind shots need maybe a bell to ring to speed up play on those holes. The course has no snack bar or food so be prepared. The cost is way below what course is worth will play again soon.
Municipal course
This 9 hole course could be nice greens need rolled and some.damage on a few holes. The course has some kind shots so maybe put a bell for players to ring when clear. The player I played had to keep driving up to see if clear to hit. But for $15 with cart I'm coming back
Fun layout
The course is a good layout wide open fairways. The greens where slow and bumpy and fairways wide and tight. The 3rd needs a bell for an all clear to hit. The 2nd is par 3 and maybe tell groups to hit up and let next group hit up then play to speed up play. The course is way better than the cost. I will play again soon because it's a nice little track.
Diamond in the Foothills
Don’t want to say too much, as I love the price, pace of play, speed of greens, and sloping terrain.
A scenic Gem for a 9 hole course
My son and I played here on a nice temperature overcast day. The staff are very nice and the course overall is nice. Greens had some sandy areas but are in good shape. I believe new customers shoutd play here.
No pushover Muni!
For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. I just wanted a cheap round to play with my wife. I saw the sub 5500 total yardage from the tips and figured it’d be an easy round, like the muni near me, which they shuttered and sold to a developer a couple years back. Looking at the fairway from the first tee, nothing dissuaded me from this illusion. Then I got to the green…
To say the greens were contoured is an understatement. They are no joke! In fact, they are this course’s primary defense. On #2, a 185 yard par 3 over a ravine, I landed about 8’ from the pin, above the hole. Facing a downhill put, I gave it proper respect and barely tapped it to get it rolling on my line. It missed by 1” on the pro side and should have stopped within a foot, but it didn’t. It slowly crept past and then kept going, building speed and rolled off the green, down the hill, and ended up 15 yards away, 12 feet below the level of the green. An easy par, quickly and disastrously turned into a snowman!
I learned my lesson on my second time through, after the turn (it’s a 9-hole track), and humbly and appreciatively carded a 4.
Very fun
Very fun. Lots of elevation change. Great for solo play. Way nicer than I thought it would be for the price.
Royster Memorial
Awesome muni course that features scorable par-5’s and the par 4’s are short but a little tricky with holes that either have tight fairways or water you must carry with changes in elevation. For a $18 (holiday rate for 9) muni course, the tee boxes and greens exceeded expectations
