The Gauntlet Golf Club

The course was beautifully manicured. White sand bunkers with no pebbles or stones. Greens and fairways were perfectly green. Pace of play was I little fast for me, but they had two tournaments, and I just happen to fall in between both. The staff was exceptionally friendly. I will most definitely be going back soon, just not on the weekend and a bit earlier as I played late afternoon early evening, weekend tournaments aside. Maybe early week in the morning for a new single golfer.

Really nice course, we had a good time playing here for the first time and look forward to coming back. I was disappointed with the pace of play, it was immediate and consistent. There were multiple groups backed up on the same hole. With the technology they have in place, it is easy to see where the backup occurs, the staff need to handle this. 4 1/2-5 hours is not acceptable. I think they also need to refine the Geo-fence on the carts, there are a number of areas just off the fairway that lock the cart. The fairways and greens are in good shape...could use some seed and water on the tee boxes.

Course was great. Challenging. Clean and well maintained. Will be back for sure this summer!

Played during winter conditions and the course was in excellent shape. Greens were a little slow but rolling well. Fairways in good shape as well.

Generally I love this course due to its challenging layout. However, this course is currently in very rough shape. I’m sure it will bounce back but especially what they are charging currently, I would not reccomend.

Very nice out of the way layout along the river. It's a ball eater so bring plenty of bullets. Would play again. Lots of blind shots.

Greens were atrocious for this time of year. Inconsistent and it appeared the holes hadn’t been cut for close to a week. Fairways and Tee boxes were pretty good but the greens have major issues so making outs was more luck and less skill.

Overall the course is in good shape. The gauntlet is a tough golf course. Dropped an eagle on 10. Had a very good time.

The pace of play was horrible it took 2.5 hours to play 8.5 holes. No one to encourage or insist that players play at pace. The layout was nice and the setting I believe around Lake Curtis was nice. It is a local municipality course and in fair to good condition. As with most small area course that are municipal somehow how Members(??? its a muni) think they own the course, and even had a person walk up to me and check my tee time (Had to tell him to chase himself in so many words). I spoke to a guy that said it is always like this.

I would not recommend this course to anyone except Members (ITS a freaking Muni)
