Course is in terrible shape. It used to be the best deal in town. We have been playing this course every week for over 5 years. But sadly we are being forced to look for another course to play our weekly round. I wish they could fix the problem but the problem seems so large I don’t think the current staff can make it happen.
Greens
All of the greens were under repair....I was told that the hot weather “burnt” the greens.
I skipped putting on 16 holes.

The course is really in bad shape. Greens are full of bad areas. Around the greens the collar’s are mostly dirt. If you land short of the greens your ball just dies. Very disappointing. We have been playing this course for many years.
Nice Sunday afternoon
The course was in good shape for the summertime.
Wasn’t crowded at all felt like I had the course to myself.
Had a great relaxing round
Policy on lightening
I was there yesterday afternoon. It was sunny there. But the course was closed for about an hour simply because there was lightening downtown New Orleans, about 5 miles away from the course. What a funny rule that they impose! Every golfer left except for three teams. Thus after enjoying about an hour, I enjoyed playing alone like my own golf course.

Course was in terrible shape. The rough was extremely long the area around a green seem to be nothing but dirt and weeds that you have to go through to get to the greens. I’ve been playing this course for many many years. It used to be one of the top groomed courses in the area, but as of right now it’s one of the worst it’s sad very sad.
Good track. Greens are in bad shape though
Overall, this is a great course, especially for the money. The greens have been hit or miss the last two years, but it seems like they're sliding away. Lots of patches with no grass, and it seems like they're getting worse with all the heat.
Fun course to play
I enjoy playing this course. Pretty wide open but has its challenges. Some of the greens could use a little work on them but for the most part are pretty. Good course to power your handicap.
Legacy Course
It’s an old-school course for sure, but that is the attraction. The course is devoted to maintaining its historic value and legacy and I love it. Each and every staff member embraced that honor. From the beverage cart coming over to me well off the cart path to the persistence on me trying the catfish special. Best Ever.
I look forward to coming back!
