Mountain at Incline Village Golf Resort

I was a little disappointed to find out that 14 holes are par 3’s, but after playing the course, I my disappointment was gone. The course is beautiful and well taken care of. The greens are deceivingly fast and the sand in the bunkers was incredibly soft. Lots of challenging yet manageable holes. The staff was very friendly and the pace of play was great. No pressure from the players behind us and no hold ups in front. I will definitely play this course again.

Great short course set among the tall Ponderosa pines. Nice layout wit elevated tees. No waiting but we did play early afternoon. Greens were in great shape but on the slower side.. Have to get used to everything sloping to the lake..

The course was in excellent shape. It is beautiful and each hole has an interesting layout. It is a par 58 but don’t think for one moment that is a knock on the course. Each par 3 and the few par fours are great holes. It is a Robert Trent Jones Jr layout so there is nothing easy about it. It is a challenge. Although novice and beginners can play the course it is definitely a challenge for any accomplished golfer. The greens are nice and roll well but they are hard to read and you will probably 3 putt a few times. I would definitely play this course again and again. It was a fun day and took only 3 hours to play.

Played slow. I thought it might be our group. One beginner. I think we were right behind the group in front of us. Most of the greens were real nice and fairly fast. Fun day

-Course was in beautiful shape.

-People were very friendly & helpful.

-Mountain Course is predominantly par 3's with a few par 4's, and can be played fairly quickly vs. its bigger brother the Championship Course.

-Holes are very tight, with trees bordering both sides of the fairways.

-Stand traps are in perfect shape.

Beautiful course, well maintained, excellent staff. Not sure what the disconnect is here, but the pace of play was torturous. Three groups all at one hole waiting. We finally gave up the last 5 holes and quit. I gave the staff a friendly heads up and they were shocked. Not sure how that could be. We played another time and were paired with two sweet old men that didnt seem to realize they were holding things up. 5 shots to my one (female). Thank goodness they quit at 9. Worse things in life than having to sit in a golf cart on a beautiful day…

Beautiful well kept course! From the tee boxes to the greens everything was great! Very challenging, but very fun to play. First time playing, so we need to go back and challenge it again. Highly recommend playing this course if you are in the area!

Great course to work on short game. Challenging holes with lots of elevation change.
