Beautiful views, challenging course, friendly staff, some areas were over watered

This is the 3rd time i have played here, and i am booked for next week again. Great condition, greens are perfect. Friendly staff.

too wet in some areas cuz of sprinklers on during the day. We live in a desert, so why aren't sprinklers on a few hours before sunrise and right after sunset. Watering during the day never made sense cuz a lot of the water evaporates in the hot sun.

Course looked good! Fairways, tee boxes and greens were spongy due to previous day's rain. Fairways and cart path entrances and exits have too many ruts, mud and water. Ground crew needs and golfers need to watch where they drive. Fill in low spots, flag problems areas so carts don't drive thru them and fix drainage issues around course!

The greens were in great condition. The restaurant was great. The course was generally good. The tee was delayed by 20 minutes and the front-9 took 3 hours. The back-9 was approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. The pro-shop and ranger did not address the pace of play.

We used to play the course multiple time in our summer trip and we used to recommend Toiyabe to friends.

Nice staff, course is well maintained. There's some areas that need better drainage.

The course is very challenging but fun to play.

Greens are difficult and fast.

Best staff, so friendly and inviting. Great course! Supper scenic, but those greens are brutal! In great shape but not a single flat spot on any of them! Was fun, friendly and challenging!

Toiyabe was in excellent condition and the price was very reasonable. Would have played again but it was about an hour from where we were staying

Tee time was at 3:36pm. Plenty of time to play. Got stuck behind a group of guys in a bachelor party. Pace of play was extremely slow. Ended up waiting on every hole. Not anyone’s fault, the three groups ahead of us were all waiting. Never saw a Marshall, staff didn’t put any effort into speeding up the pace of play. The staff was more concerned with the wedding they were hosting and allowing the wedding party to take pictures. Absolutely not the wedding parties fault. Got to the 18th hole at ~8:06pm. Marshall came flying by as we were on the tee box. We were friendly and waved and said hi. He didn’t even acknowledge us and came in extremely rude telling us “stop playing, go return your cart it’s 8pm”. And drove straight past. Now look, I get it there’s a cutoff but the club sells tee times out till 6pm for 18 holes and nothing I saw said a hard cutoff at 8pm. If the club doesn’t enforce any kind of pace of play then are rude telling us to essentially get out without letting us play the last hole due to us being unable to play the round in a reasonable time then idk what to do. If you’re going to play here I wouldn’t book anything past 2:30pm because pace has been slow every time I’ve played here. For me, I won’t be coming back again which is a real shame because I think the course is great. This isn’t the only issue I’ve had with the club/staff but this is a long enough post.
