Arcadian Shores Golf Club

Greens were very good. Fairways good as well. Tee boxes were in good shape. Overall decent coarse while on vacation.

Slow pace made this round unbearably long. We were looking at a 5 + hr round. Had to quit early.

Greens were great!

Course was in decent shape, staff was friendly and the weather was perfect. Two groups ahead of us were rather slow but we still managed our to finish around 4 hours.

Arcadia Shores is a nice beach layout with some challenging holes requiring some precise shot making. Lots of water and bunkers to challenge any golfer. The fairways were a little rough based on the hot summer, but I’m sure we’ll come back as soon as it cools off some.

Many areas around the greens have not been maintained for quite some time. The first six holes were horrible. The greens were okay but the tee boxes need trimmed. And the first cut was labeled “ridiculous” several times. I’ve observed many course Pros, GM’s and Superintendents forget their patrons are not pros with accuracy that keeps them out of the rough. Their patrons are average Joe’s on vacation wanting to enjoy their day. Not spend their time searching for balls just six feet off the fairways!

Greens and fairways were in good shape but the rough was obscenely high. Some green complexes had thick weeds mixed in. Tee boxes could use some mowing too. Arcadian is a fun course, but they’ve got to mow the rough. Excessively high rough slows pace of play down for everyone.

Showed up of two minutes before the teatime and they wouldn’t let us go off. Golf pro and the ranger in the shop was a real jerk. Course wasn’t packed and still wouldn’t let us go off

1st time here. Staff was great- helpful, friendly. Nice range and practice area pre-round. Course was in good shape. Greens were excellent. One or two fairways were beat up but it’s also been ridiculously hot the last 2 weeks. Overall, nice course.

Had a great time. Made some new friends. Of course was in great shape. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you so much.

I’ve played this course a few times since I moved down here. It’s always been very good but this last time the pace of play was absolutely awful 5 1/2 hours to get 18 holes in on the front line we were told the group in front of us was only doing nine holes and it should speed up once they’re done got to the bag nine it was just too slow even after those people were no longer golfing. 2 to 3 groups backed up on tea boxes very disappointing as far as that goes. Everything else was fine though.!

The course was very nice. The pace of play was on point. There was no hassle or rushing. I showed up a little late, so they put me with a group that was fun. The location was close to my Airbnb, which was cool. Overall, I would recommend this course to friends and family.

It looks like they are doing work on this course, it should be free until they finish. All the greens has very high grass, the fairways are below average, but the good was, there’s no tough. A nice easy municipal course.

Fairways totally unaccptable. Was at 2 other courses the same few days and they were in great condition. One was reiver hills. The grrens were in fine shape however at Arcadian but fairways extremely thin and yoou can see the dirt. Ball did not sit up . I was shocked.
