Azalea Sands Golf Course

Always an enjoyable experience. I like playing on the fast greens. The hard packed sand traps and bunkers will test your golf skills. I look forward to my next round of golf.

Fairways were brown and very thin, wondering why they didn’t overseer as I see most other courses in area did over seed.

Wasn’t Pleasent hitting from very thin, almost bare ground.

Greens were also very hard, not holding and almost no grass except for the numerous clumps of green weeds throughout.

Round was so unpleasant that I did not even bother playing again for the rest of my stay- 3 more days.

The layout was not bad the fairways were very hard and alot of dirt/sand front 9 very slow back nine not so bad the people working their were great just not the greens or fairways but should be ok for beginners

You want to play a cheap course go ahead but after you play a nice course like we did in the morning and them going here I wish it was the other way around it

Fairways are dry, fast greens, good for the price!

To be expected for early March, there wasn’t a lot of grass around. Bare brown fairways with the occasional puddle due to overnight rain meant you were attempting to picking the ball clean all the time. The greens also looked a little strange but were fast and true. No rough except pine needles makes it an ideal beginners course which was probably the reason for fairly slow play. Lot of waiting on the back nine but still got done in 4.5 hours.

Fairways are awful, no grass, patches of dirt, rough was terrible, greens fast and true besides the weeds sprouting out of it. One of the worst golf experiences I’ve ever had. Place needs to shutdown for awhile and fix it. I paid $45 and wouldn’t even pay $10 to play it again.

Course is decent for early March. Lies are tight to ground. Rough dormant. Not much green except the greens. Fast though 12ish.

Greens in average condition, fairways are brown, however, course was a fun little track.

Very fast greens, but nice, smooth and consistent with good pin placement. Bunkers had real soft quality sand - not hardened dirt like some other courses. Friendly crew. Enjoyable. Nice carts with GPS distances.
