Pleasantly Surprised But SLOW, SLOW, SLOW
The course was in VERY good condition - tee boxes, fairways, greens. I was pleasantly surprised because I thought a "bargain" course would be run down. It was not. I also thought this was supposed to be a Beginner-Friendly course but there are plenty of fairway bunkers, water and even a few layup/forced carries to challenge experienced players. Fairways were generous for the most part. My only complaint - and one that the course has repeatedly heard and will do nothing about - is the SLOW PACE of play. They use 8 minute tee times and while this generates more revenue, it gums up the course, resulting in a 5 hour round of golf. YUCH! Wouldn't it be better to raise rates by $5 and go to 9 or 10 minute tee times? Surely that's better than upsetting everyone who plays here.

Played course 2 years ago there was little to no grass on the course. Heard good reviews and returned to the course, they solved the grass problem, greens are slow but they all are so hit the ball harder.
