Strawberry Farms Golf Club

Strawberry farms is a hiden gem in Irvine Ca. 15 min. from John Wayne Airport. An absolutly beautiful and well maintaind course that you might not know is even there. They have a great and helpfull staff., a fabulous resturant/Bar the course itself is top notch. We happened to have foursome at 2:10 pm on a Sunday. We played a. Relaxed round and were never pushed. The greens were in vreat shape and course has an inviting look to the eye of the golfer. The back nine playes around a resavior that much like the course you would never know is there. The gree fees are obviously more than local municiple courses but well worth the money and i would say a bargin when compared to some of the other higher end courses i. The area.

Friendly staff, nice amnesties, and course is challenging! Fairways are narrow like skinny margaritas. Price is a bit bitey but would come back for sure.

If you pay $200 plus for a round of golf on the weekend you would expect to have a “Cart Girl”. After the round I heard from a regular who plays there once a month that she recently had surgery. Disappointed the course could not find a replacement especially being a planned absence. As for the Cart Girl I wish her a speedy recovery.

Pace of play was terrific for a Saturday. I feel courses slow the speed of greens on the weekend to help with pace of play. I’m no expert, but it felt like the greens were running at a 5-6 on the Stimpmeter. It’s my preference for greens to roll a little faster.

For the rest of the course conditions it was in great shape.

It was horrible experience. No one mentioned the greens being punched and having to play the same 9 holes 2 times

It was my first time experiencing that and hopefully my last. I play twice a week and you guys always give a notice of the greens at work he does alone me driving 60 miles to play 9 holes . It was a scam

I can see this course being maybe $120 on the weekend at $185 is a joke, considering the conditions of it. There was plenty of dry spots as well as muddy spots. I have paid less money and played far more superior manicured courses. This is a supposedly a premium course but it’s disguised as a Muni course. The layout is great overall definitely some risk reward holes. Greens are in good shape. But again for the amount they charge you here I would expect it to be a premium resort style course not a public municipality course disguised as a high end course. Carts were old beat up carts as well.

This course is awesome, the pace of play is always perfect and the course is super fun. The grass upkeep has gone down over the years but it is still worth the price.

I really liked this course; there are some challenging holes but overall not a difficult course. I played there with my 10 year old son and he did well.

3rd or 4th time playing here past few years and it never disappoints. 2nd 4some out, and done in under 4 hours. Course is in grest shape and the greens ran true. Another grest golf outing here.

Great time overall, but for this price the governor shouldn’t lock me in the fairway so I have to call the clubhouse and then wait to be switched off to move over when I’m physically pushing it towards cart path. Very fun day and course played good, but that’s a huge buzzkill and multiple times for stupid reasons it would just shut down and lock up the cart.
