Golfer Reviews
Fun course
I live in Connecticut but visit my daughter who lives in Irvine. I love playing Eagle Glen every time I come to visit.
Need Ranger on the field
Weather was scorching hot 100F.... front Group was terrible, no respect to sign & courtesy. SLOW and Going through the fair way that said Cart Path Only.
I end up Calling Club House.....I don't do this but with weather and overall finishing 1 hour then suggested pace.
Golf Play
The course was in decent shape however the biggest downfall there was no Marshall to push ahead a foursome who were playing from the blue tees and should have not been. It caused our round to be over 5-1/2 hours.
Very slow pace of play
Eagle Glen was fantastic as always for a course conditions perspective. The greens were running really fast in my opinion. There were multiple holes that were cart path only. The only issue here was that the pace of play on the front 9 was extremely slow. It took us 3 hours just to finish the front. It did pick up on the back 9, but the damage was already done. Still, it’s a very nice course overall. The range was closed in the morning. I did see after we finished up in 18 that it opened at some point during the day.
Finally green fairways
Well there is grass in the fairways again. I’m back to playing here as long as they keep the fairways green
Tough but playable, great pace of play
This course is one of the tougher public courses in the Corona/Riverside area.
Greens are in great shape, fast but unforgiving.
Tee boxes could use a rehab (blues and reds were better than whites), but it is summer and hot, so an A- here.
Friendly staff, starter keeps things moving, never had to wait on each hole on a Saturday morning.
Cost is above average for the area, but worth the money.
Course in great shape
Course was in great shape, only disappointment was the round took 5.5 hours on a Monday morning
Way too slow..
Pace of play was terrible. Me and my group had to leave after hole 12 because at that point it had already been just north of 4 hours to get that far. Wouldn’t recommend playing here on the weekend. Really bad course management, no Marshall enforcing an appropriate pace.
Great if you like long rounds
Played on a Saturday 12:30 tee time. Actual tee of was 1:15 pm. Took 5:45 hrs. Just brutal.
