Hidden Valley Golf Club

Except for the bunkers, the course is well maintained. It is a difficult layout, and therefore a slow round of golf. If you like to be challenged, you'll like this place

We golfed late afternoon, I knew it would be close to being able to finish. We had a very gutless cart that completely died on the way to 18th tee box. The 3rd group in front of us super super slow. Held everyone up. We were racing daylight and had not been for our cart dieing we probably could have made it. The cart the whole day was sluggish and brakes were terrible, cart would not set ofn the hills we had to put the wheels next to curbs or one of us had to keep foot on the brake.

Loved the course bur slow play made it less fun. Waited on every hole

Great round, would only been better had the group behind not consistently talked and hit balls past our group on 2 holes, a marshall out on the course would've been appreciated

Wasn't busy since weekends but had slow teams..... no ranger to controls.

Condirion of green 💚 was excellent...fairway needs some work.

I read some reviews previous to coming that the greens and bunkers were in bad shape. I hadn’t played Hidden Valley in a few years so I wanted to give it a try again and see if the reviews were just old nonsense. NOPE. If you care about keeping a good score / putting then do not play here. Greens are extremely bumpy and hairy. Bunkers are basically like hitting off the cart path. The starter Bob was also not very nice at the start of our round. The tee boxes are extremely uneven and very difficult to have a flat lie. The positives are the fairways were green and lush and the views were incredible. Not worth anything more than $70.

Incredible Topography, stunning views, and great course. Very challenging for my skill level but I had an amazing time.

I played yesterday with my son at Hidden Valley Golf Club.

We played the first hole without issue. The next hole, we could not locate the pin as the flag was pulled by the greens keepers who were trimming as we were playing. We stood there for 5 minutes as we waited for them to place the pin in. Not only was there debris over the greens, but they never turned their motors off so we were putting to the noise of an industrial lawnmower. We had the same experience for the next 3 holes…

I have never have had an experience like this in my 30+ years of playing.

Especially for the money, HV is one of the most challenging and fun courses in the area. Views are incredible and conditions are pretty great, although, the greens were a bit bumpy and slow. I love the layout of this course, except for the fact that it ends with a par 5, but that’s just my preference.

The Course was in Great shape. Some construction on the back 9 hole 11 or 12. But otherwise a great value for the price. Fun course to play.
