Great if you like long rounds

Played on a Saturday 12:30 tee time. Actual tee of was 1:15 pm. Took 5:45 hrs. Just brutal.

My experience

Eagle Glen is a beautiful Golf Course; well maintained and staffed with courteous employees. The layout is challenging. The surrounding areas are excellent view, several have views of five or six holes. It really is a Golf Course that golfers need to play.

5 and a half hours to play on a Monday is ridiculous. No food or drinks available after you leave the first tee. None of the employees seemed to be very happy working there and it showed by the way they treated the customers.

Beautiful Course, Horrible pace of play

The course was great. The staff was friendly. The pace of play was horrible. Tee time was at 3:15, did t tee of until almost 3:45. Called it quits at 8pm. Was only able to get 16 holes in. Showed up at a few holes where 2 groups in front would be waiting. Made my group feel as though we had to rush for the group behind us, but would just end up waiting again at the next hole. Sadly, ruined our first experience at this beautiful course.

The service and staff were not up to par

Don’t waste your time or money. 5 plus hours to play with no drinks or water available anywhere on the course that doesn’t turn at the clubhouse.

Beautiful course and facilities at a snails pace

We have played this course at least a half a dozen times because of a few things:

1) course is challenging

2) facilities and grounds themselves are well maintained and now they have a proper range and pickleball courts.

3) price to play is still reasonable after 12p. The cost is in the pace of play which this last round was interminable.

4) my review of so many things about glen eagle is positive but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they know going in that the round may take 6 hours and they are ok with that then have at it. Because the pace is so slow many times we’ve played here and not finished all 18 holes. This time we did finish all 18 and it was still a lot of fun despite how long it took.
