SLOW
I had a course marshal playing with us, and the two groups in front of us were painfully slow, yet he did nothing about it. I ended up walking off the course in the back nine. Also, there was a lot of vehicles operating around the golf course while we were playing, to include a tractor literally 5 feet behind us as we were teeing off.
Cut the grass
The grass was absolutely way too long on the second cut… If your ball was not right in the fairway, you could easily lose your ball right off of it in 4 inches of grass and even if you could find your ball, it was nearly impossible to hit it. It’s like you were playing the U.S. Open type conditions.
Great course for walking
Great course for the walking golfer. Course itself is relatively forgiving and not really too challenging. But I really wish people would repair their pitch marks on the greens.
Great round
First time playing. Overcast day with a steady 10 mph breeze made for a fun challenge playing from the blue tees. Course was in great condition and greens were definitely challenging. Will definitely be back, enjoyed our day and pace was a little slow with back ups at all par 3’s. Played in 5 hours teeing off at noon which was delayed by 20 minutes.
Moderately Easy Pleasant course
Inexpensive. Played with grandson and obtained a Senior and Junior rate. Greens recently punched, fairways needed cutting and tee boxes were ragged. CONSIDERING PRICE AND GREAT WEATHER WE HAD A GOOD TIME. Personnel friendly and helpful.
Well maintained course
The course is well-maintained, the layout is playable and the staff are very helpful Nd friendly.
It would be great if the grill would have items ready for the turn.
Beautiful Day
Once the foursome in front of our twosome pace was open. Greens crazy fast. But $11 for a beer?
Great Course
Mather is a very nice course, with good greens and significant but playable rough. I will look forward to playing there again.
