Slow Sunday

10:50 tee and did not finish until 4:30, so it was a slow round, as should be expected at a learning facility. We endured. Course is in great shape as long as you avoid the sand-less traps. As always, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Great value overall, and midweek play is always faster.

Amazing course for beginners

I’m fairly new to golf myself. I started around 2 months ago, and this is one of the better courses for getting into the game. It’s open and not a lot of danger for losing balls. I’ve played course where Ive lost 10 balls throughout the round. This course I played 3 balls, and only lost 2 because I tried getting to brave and banging out dome drives. Haha.

Patience is a Virtue

This public course is perfect for beginner/average golfers. If you’re a single digit handicapper, this course probably isn’t for you. Depending on the time of day, you will be doing a lot of waiting around. There are tons of hackers (like me), who play this course. The driving range doesn’t allow any clubs that go longer than 225 yards Beach Hut Deli is near the pro shop, and their food/drinks are excellent.
