Conditions not great
Overall conditions are average. Fairways are fine. Greens have gone downhill since I last played there in March. Lots of bare spots. Bunkers are almost unplayable. Most need to be played as ground under repair. For the price(<50) it is not a bad deal. Lunch was included. Pro shop attendant was very pleasant.
Ok for a cheap knock, but won't be back.
Got a reasonable deal on GolfNow and with early start, our 2 ball went round in just under 3 hours. Friendly staff at pro shop, but didn't stay after the round to check other facilities.
Course in poor/fair condition at best.
Tee boxes patchy and bumpy.
Fairways fair at best.
Bunkers mostly unplayable.
Greens need work as lots of damage!
A real pity, as was a nice layout with amazing ladies locker room. (According to my wife)
Can't complain too much given price paid, but won't be back I'm afraid.
Disappointed.
Overpriced trash
There are so many nice courses that I’ve played in the area for less than this. The greens were mostly dirt, there was no grass. Everything was flooded so you had to move your ball to a high side and almost every shot.
Worst Greens I have ever played
These were by far the worst greens I have ever seen. Several of the greens were half dirt. The sand traps also didn’t have any rakes and the carts didn’t have any sand/dirt to fill divots. It felt like they didn’t care if players tore up the course.
Nice layout but poor greens
The course was nice but the greens worse worse for ware
Fine for the price.
Don't expect perfect greens and fairways. If you do then go elsewhere and pay far more. Lots of water with 9th hole the highlight with a J shape layout
Staff very helpful.
Have a plan b on standby….
Once we paid , we got screwed. The free meal is comp for the stacked tee times . Tee time was 9:36 , we arrived first tee 9:30 it’s 20 guys about to go out , they all complained about how backed up it was . We just decided to ask for our refund and went to Remington down the street, but was told they always do this so be careful before you book and have a backup plan I guess ( weird ) . The ranger (6/19 am shift) was rude , sarcastic and just is not needed to be near any customers. The young man at the counter kept it professional, despite the unpleasant ranger , thanks for him. When leaving the ranger even had the nerve to ask “Are you happy ? I simply stated “my review will be full of happiness!!! “
Kissimmee Bay
Course is fun to play. They need to keep the greens in better shape
It's getting better
I've been hesitant to play Kissimmee Bay because in the past it's been in decent shape, but for me it wasn't worth the price. I took a chance and other than the greens being aerated, which I knew about, the course itself wasn't too bad. I was out early(7:30) so there was one group in front of me and none behind me, so I got to work on my game and hit multiple balls on every hole. The fairways were cut nice and even though the greens were aerated, they were also cut and rolled good enough. There was a couple greens that had their issues, but given the area, it was to be expected. I wish this course was closer to me because it could become a regular spot for me.
Nice layout
Nice layout, greens rolled decent but some burned spots on some of the greens. I believe under new ownership and is definitely worth playing. For the money it’s worth playing. The second green was the worst, I would play it again.
Asking a lot for this time of the year.
First couple of greens were really bad but after that they were pretty good. Played here quite a lot but thought the green fee for this time of the year is steep for the course conditions.
Need TLC
First time at this course, we are used to play at Remington and while it is not the best course, the green are nice and the fairways are not terrible. Kissimmee is in such bad shape that you can’t even enjoy, I am no expert and just started my golf journey but the greens are in terrible condition. Someone can argue you get what you pay for but we get way more at Remington for the same price
Dog Track
Greens are absolutely awful. Seems like they dont water them at all. Half of them are just dirt and sand. Tee boxes are pretty rough too. Fairways aren't too bad. Course has a good layout but it definitely needs some TLC. Don't play unless you find it for $25 or less!
This course was fun
Very friendly staff. I have now played here twice with family. Fun course and easy to navigate. Good prices for what is offered. Will not be my last time playing here.
Short and tight, fun and challenging
Kissimmee Bay was the 5th course I have played in Orlando area in a week and the greens were the worst I’ve seen in Orlando. Having said that, the overall course is nice and fairly good value. It plays very tight and relatively short. Your best bet to score, especially on the par 5’s, is to go station to station otherwise you risk very probable out of bounds shots. Several of the par 4s were perfect for a fairway wood or long iron but too short for the driver (And I’m not a long hitter). Enjoyed the course and would play it again. Hopefully the greens are in better shape next time.
Kissimmee Bay
First time playing this course and found it quite enjoyable. It's a challenging layout with some course management skills necessary. For the most part it offers playability for all players of different skill levels. There are a couple of spots where forced carry distances might be a little difficult for some players. Of the mid-level courses in the Orlando area in late spring it was nice to play one that had grass in almost all locations. Some of the bunkers needed some maintenance and we're basically ground under repair. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall I play this course again
Nice course to play.
The greens on the front 9 are really in poor condition, while the fairways are actually good. On the back 9, both the greens and fairways are in good condition. The course is not too difficult, but definitely worth playing at least once.
