Golfer Reviews
Great little course
If you aren’t too precious about pace and conditions of greens etc then this course will fine for you. Bunkers are naff but we just treated them as GÜR. Much wildlife about. Put you bird song app on for an hour or so and you will be surprised. Keep an eye out for alligators in the ponds. The 19th hole is good and reasonably priced. Watch out for the soup of the day.
Front 9, very rough grounds and difficult to get a good lie even in the fairways. Back 9 in much better shape. Long 1-1/2 wait after front 9 waiting for shotgun play to finish through before I could even start.
Shame about some greens
The staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful but being greeted by “Cricket” the club cat was the best.
The range and practice green were ok nothing special but somewhere to warm up.
The tees were good no problems with them at all.
Fairways in general were good but due to the heavy rainfall lately there were a few wetter areas.
Approaches and green surroundings were quite good.
Hazards/bunkers were very wet and underwater in places but certainly no problems playing out of the areas not waterlogged.
Greens unfortunately there had either been a lot of vandalism or disease so many green had extensive work carried out on them and the new turf was still bedding in. This only affected us on one hole and we just moved our ball to an area of similar distance on the original green/turf.
The layout of the course is great, there are a lot of different holes that are not always needing a driver off the tee and a little more thinking about placement.
The pace of play, 4 ball in front seem to be less experienced golfers or were struggling so we did not want to pressure them and stayed back but after 6 holes they let us through and we never saw anyone after that.
The club house was nice the girl serving us was very friendly, there was a meal included with the green fee (we both had the cheeseburger and fries) this was really nice and tasty.
As we left there was a nice touch from the guy who helped us in the morning coming up and thanking us for playing.
This is not the best course we have ever played but certainly would go back.
COURSE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE,
STAFF FRIENDLY AND MADE SUGGESTIONS THAT SPEED UP OUR
PLAY.
Has gone a little backwards
Have played here in 2024 and 2025. The course has gone a little backwards since then but still represents good value for money and a fair test. A couple of the greens are suffering from dead grass and obviously the course is soft underfoot due to all the rain. A couple of the bunkers have more vegetation than sand. Fairways are wide, tee boxes mostly excellent and the welcome is great. Would definitely play here again.
Not terrible but could be better.
Pretty much empty on a Thursday morning. Probably due to the heat and humidity of August in Orlando’s. Greens have patches on most spots. Had to move the balls to putt. Overall, not bad for the cost. Might come back.
Worth the $20 price range
Course is pretty good overall for a $20 tee time. Greens are burnt on edges still decent enough to manage. Bunkers were flooded from heavy rain from night before. Tee boxes a little rough but good enough hitting off a tee..fairways good enough for the price
Great layout & fun to play
Great value for money, really interesting course. Greens were really suffering on the front 9 but improved on the back. Friendly staff also.
Would recommend 👍
Absolutely terrible
Worst greens I’ve seen in a while. Massive chunks missing, new sod just thrown down. You will have to move your ball just to putt. Seems like they don’t even but the grass, no sand in bunkers. Not the course I remember. Pay the extra $40 and play ChampionsGate, because this was absolutely terrible.
Conditions not great
Overall conditions are average. Fairways are fine. Greens have gone downhill since I last played there in March. Lots of bare spots. Bunkers are almost unplayable. Most need to be played as ground under repair. For the price(<50) it is not a bad deal. Lunch was included. Pro shop attendant was very pleasant.
Ok for a cheap knock, but won't be back.
Got a reasonable deal on GolfNow and with early start, our 2 ball went round in just under 3 hours. Friendly staff at pro shop, but didn't stay after the round to check other facilities.
Course in poor/fair condition at best.
Tee boxes patchy and bumpy.
Fairways fair at best.
Bunkers mostly unplayable.
Greens need work as lots of damage!
A real pity, as was a nice layout with amazing ladies locker room. (According to my wife)
Can't complain too much given price paid, but won't be back I'm afraid.
Disappointed.
