Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Greens were banged up, very expense over 200 to pay. Golf cart was on the car path and still trigger as if we were on the green. Had to drive to the over hole backwards!

The starter was awesome. We got teamed up with two other people. All good. Very disappointed in the little things that I like playing Disney courses for.

We usually get nice Disney tee’s, the ranger was not staying off the side when we were on the box. Instead he was coming toward us in the box and just stopped on the path facing us. Totally made us nervous to hit our tee ball.

There were other things, but overall very disappointing. The greens were horrible and we paid over $200 dollars to play. Disappointed.

Turns out the conditions for this course (mainly greens and tee boxes) is so bad they are closing in 2 weeks for a 6-9 month renovation. So many courses to play in Orlando - skip this one.

The staff are great but the greens are not and 1/2 the tee boxes are covered in sand or mud. They should close it now.

Disappointing and not up to Disney standards that we expect. Spend your money on a different course

Course is in good shape before they close it down! Well worth the money

Greens and fairways were spotty in numerous places. Layout is good - wide fairways - but nothing dramatic. Typical resort course. Slow greens. Played Magnolia today and that is much better - layout and condition wise. Greens in great shape and fast.

The course is in great condition and the pace of play perfect.

Course was great, Golf pass was not, golf now hipped me out of $500 and will not be booking through them in the future.

Some of the greens were very uncharacteristic of Disney courses. Some burned out areas. Otherwise course was I great shape.

Played LBV on Sunday 2/15 fresh off the plane waiting to check into our room. The location of the course and the layout are really cool, as you weave through Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, and Port Orleans Resorts. The feeling of seeing Disney buses, seeing Disney Springs, and hearing the Disney "buzz" around you when you golf is a one-of-a-kind experience. There were also cute Disney signs around hazards and at the beginning of holes. The tee boxes, fairways, and bunkers were in excellent condition. However, the rough and the greens had seen better days. Before playing, I had read that this course was having issues with disease over the last several months and had undergone rigorous overseeding to rectify the issue. I also think that the recent cold snap before our visit killed some of the vegetation around the course, and probably harmed the healing process of the greens. Knowing Disney and how awesome the staff were, I am sure that LBV will be in pristine condition soon. I would definitely play this place again for the experience.

It’s a great course, I really enjoyed the round. Too bad the 5 day freeze killed the grass around the fairway.
