Massanutten Resort - Mountain Greens Course

The course was great , wet due to 3” of rain the day before. But it was still in good shape and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be returning.

Lots of fun at Mountain Green. Course was in very good shape and challenging for an average golfer. Had a noon tee time and did not have to wait on any hole. Lots of wildlife to keep you entertained if the golf isn’t enough!

Terrible experience. Terrible staff. Course is decent but very tight. Leave your driver home if you hit it over 200 yards. The BUGS are awful. So many little bugs hitting your eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. I will never play here again. And there was a 5 sum slowing the whole course down and didn’t let anyone play through

Had a great time. Staff was great. Very hot day. water stations throughout. course was in very good condition, greens were excellent. will play here again. Less than 4 hour round.

This was probably the easiest course I've ever played. It's on a mountain side, and as long as you hit the ball to the high side of the hole, there's absolutely no trouble. The greens were in great shape, and the break was pretty much the same in every hole.

Greens were recently spiked, so a little bumpy, and greens could use some water. Fairways green and looking good. Luckily I’m left handed and my shots favor the left side of the fairways…right is danger zone on many of the wholes with the slope.

Never lost a ball, but my partner is down about a 1/2 dozen! Ha!

I'd like to give it another shot in late spring early summer. Coming out of winter, the course is also coming out of hibernation. Multiple tee boxes were closed and alternates were grouped up. If they weren't closed, only a few were in good shape. Most were uneven and pitted up. The nice ones are nice, the bad ones are BAD. Greens were ok. A few had unplayable areas and had to give myself a "ground under repair" ruling. Fairways were great, no complaints here. Only thing I will say about the fairways is that it's extremely difficult to keep a ball on the short grass with the mountain slope and terrain. I want to give it another shot once the staff has tome to address the course and the leaves come in. Price was probably on par for the current conditions. But I expect that it will come in nice. No driving range at the upper course, that's at the bottom of the mountain. No hot snacks. Again, maybe just too early in the season to commit to that. Pace of play was a 5/5, no waiting, no rushing. Carts nice, proshop nice. I give it a 4 because of the potential.

The staff was excellent, especially Kyle outside. The layout is fun and challenging. Had a great day!

Beautiful , fun and challenging course. Conditions weren't the best but there had been some very hard rain a week or 2 before. Still not bad

Mountain Greens never disappoints. It's a great track. Once you get a feel for the nuances of mountain golf, you'll love it. Can't wait to go back.

I don't have a persistent slice, but that didn't keep many of my drives and 2nd shots from disappearing into the woods off the severe side hill mountain slopes. Many of the shots have a blind landing area, so no finding the ball. Fortunately the greens will hold your iron shots, as they are old-style dirt-based. And they are smooth and undulating for some fun putting. Tee boxes are chopped up, but hey....if you are using a tee, why let that bother you? Friendly staff and not too busy made this an enjoyable experience.

The course was him great condition and the layout was fantastic. Would play it again anytime.
